That is so sad! T_T Poor Gwen. And I don't think I could ever watch a superhero movie the same way again, after learning about impulse. But if Spiderman's web were more elastic, maybe she would've lived (I'm guessing bungee jumpers don't die because of the elastic cord they're attached to somehow affects impulse?)
