this concerto is brutally difficult..esp the first movement cadenza...this guy pulls it off pretty great..few years ago i watched Kissin play this..Katz comes very close to that...
You can absolutely headbang to some parts of Brahms' piano concertos. The big, badass group of sequences starting around 7:20-25 is one of my favourite things in all of the music I've ever heard.
This is the best piano concerto among all. The others to follow are: Beethoven No.5; Beethoven No.4. Tchaikovsky No 2. Rachmaninov No. 2; Mozart No. 20.

terrific!..the real power of the movement comes from the cadenza!..this guy is brutal!....this concerto is deep and very difficult to excecute..

Very good interpretation. The piano is too metalic and to loud fo my taste (but who am I to speak? i cannot play this!! wish I could :D)
