They make USB wireless receivers for PC that let you use wireless 360 peripherals (controllers, instruments, remotes) on windows.

The official name is "Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows". It costs anywhere from around $20 to $40 (MSRP).

I personally bought a wired controller, and once I got my 360, bought the receiver. Works great with all emulators and Games4Windows games.
