I guess OD'ing *could* be called 'going off to do a solo album', metaphorically-speaking. Sad. But this being the band's first media promo package, I suppose they didn't want to start their new band on a huge downer.
Thanks everyone for commenting on the video. If nothing else, it's cool to be able to share this part of my Pearl Jam collection with other fans. It really justifies my obsessive hoarding/collecting abilities! WhooHoo!
I love seeing stuff from before they were famous. I really like the later stuff the best, but I always forget the old stuff was good too. I know, I'm probably the only person to think that.
love it!!! have seen it before and actually had itr saved on you tube somewnere else and then it became unavaliable..so i'm SO SO glad to finaly have it again!! thanks for posting it...PJ 4EVER!!!! (Stone is #1 !!!)
i've seen this video numerous times in the past and yet everytime i see it to this day i still say to myself......what the hell is mike talking about???? that is some of the most random off the wall blabbering i've ever heard.
Big deal. I've seen much better ultra-rare, early-era Pearl Jam footage featuring Dave Krusen that's been digitized from original tape with perfect video and audio quality on YouTube before. You'll have to do better than this to stand out from the crowd, jfretless.
Let me know when you've unearthed Eddie Vedder's personal in-studio video recordings from the Temple of the Dog sessions... THEN I'll be impressed.
Wow, Stone was really beautiful back then too. Those huge eyes... *cough!* sorry, where was I again?

What the hell, Andy Wood doing a solo album? What an odd way to describe death by overdose.

@frankv91 Yikes! I noticed that too.
