  • dude, watch out for lead. All ceramic pots have some. Run a metal detector over one chip and it beaps. The Original Americans used it as war paint(in place of bear fat and native dirt) when the whites brought over this cheaper substitute. They got lead poisoning.

  • Conspiracy? Stupid american

  • @hungsolo25 SPY!

  • @DaveWreckingCrew Yer because everything is a conspiracy and everybody is a spy

  • @hungsolo25 That's what you would have me think if you were trying to disorient the alerted. Well played, spy.

  • your got some good shit on your posts , please keep them coming , aussie russ

  • You aren't understanding the concept of this technology. It looks like a flower pot but actually is not a regular flower pat. The filter is made of clay and sawdust. The pores are there because when the filter is fired in a kiln all the sawdust will burn out leaving pores that are small enough to drain out any bacteria. Then, any bacteria big enough to fit through the pores will be killed by the colloidal silver. This filter is 100% effective and is not a conspiracy.

  • @jfanactor, he said like 20 times that 'The pot not being available here in America is the conspiracy.' You aren't understanding the words coming out of his mouth. You heard a southern accent & stopped listening to the content. He sited the website he found & was praising the brilliance & simplicity of the product while bashing its lack of commercial availability in America. Please watch the video again for confirmation.

  • @tmomof6 I stand by what I said that he is not understanding the technology... It is not the lack of glazing that cause the water to seep through but it is the pores that are there because of the sawdust that is burned out during the firing process. It is not available in the United States only because the technology was designed for use in the third world where the water crisis is most prevalent. Here in the United States, potable water is available anywhere thus eliminating the need for it.

  • no .its one more idea for emergencies for ohers.and its not hard to remember.not everyone will have ceramic filter.which the ceramic filter ,i think is brillance.this only a suggestion for people .and swear at me heh!

  • for quick emergency use your coffee pot, cone shaped.first filter use charcole.second filter use sand.quatity acording to size of your coffee pot.i have not tryed this yet .but believe it will work.if no electrical power at the time then just pour thru top filter slowly.then drink.if anybody has more ideas please write them so all know.thanks

  • @wiewayflats WTF is this a excuse not to have a good filter?

  • you could just throw a few silver coins in the pot and down in the 5 gallon bucket to keep bacteria from growing. also a piece of copper will keep fungus from growing.

  • Great info. I've never heard of those.

    Thanks for the upload

  • I know that there is a paten on this water filter. No one has bought the rights to produce this filter in the US as of this time. The use of this paten has been given to a group called Potters With Out Boardes for developing world countries. This was to keep the cost down for very poor people.

  • there not cheap maybe cost you fifty english pounds not sure what that is in dollars

  • they have been doing it for years. you can mix tea leafs or coffee in them when you bake the pot.it works just the same as land drains.and it is taken straight from the ground . so i dont know how it will have any poisions in it.you can also use it to filter waste veg oil for fuel.

  • Your weight is gonna kill before any war anyway so relax and start enjoying your fear free life.

  • Well done, Now we can get those for the tent citys in our own country. Government to the people good news is now you have communist rationed heath care bad news is you now live in a tent.

  • this guy is im my opinion border line genius

  • You may want to consider that about 8 years ago there was a huge change in the laws because people were dying from buying expensive stoneware dishes that were not fired enough and the chemicals made them VERY, VERY ILL, to the point of death.

Remember, if you plan on using these for drinking water, there are LETHAL materials in some of the clay used to make pottery. This is most likely why you can't buy certain pottery in this country. It's not fired high enough to not kill you.

  • dont you mean the glazing was not fired enough?

  • That is true, and the most often mentioned, however there is lead in most of the materials used in pottery. It's not just the glaze, or the paint, or the low heating tempature, it's also the MANY different things in the pottery, especially when there are a lot of temperature issues that keep popping up. I thought it was a great idea too, but then I remembered.... and it's not good.

You have to dig a little deeper to find out about it, but they are there, lots of poisions.

  • @Sheila6325 why would you make a pot for the purpos of filtering water with clay that has contaminated lead? or any other contaminates? did you check the link in the more info section?

  • @Sheila6325 These are impregnated with colloidal silver. It has been the best solution to obtain potable water in poor countries and after disasters. Potters for Peace offers FULL instructions if you want to learn more. Of course, you can make other multiphase filters, but this is quick and easy and highly effective (see lab results)

  • I to have searched for one of these clay pots and other like it. There are several different way to make them here on YouTube. TWA [my water company] wouldn't make any mony of me. It's all about making us pay out more than we bring in.

  • i've looked everywhere for months and months for a pot like that or at least one without a hole in the middle. no luck....might have to silicone the hole up in a normal one. this is a great vid, good points

  • very good point! 5 stars - once again I use the Berkey filters, that filter so well, they are actually considered purifiers. its like many things. I'm starting to find out the truths, and I'm amazed at how big business kills out new or old technologies when there's a buck to be made. BUYER BEWARE! the biggest scams out there are the lies we've been raised on...

  • The pottery filter is lacking in its ability to remove viruses from water. If you want to remove them chlorinate your water. USA most have chlorine and filter to remove the treatment chemicals. PRM did a story on this product today the man that produces them in yemen does so at a rate of 100 per day pot is made mixing clay and saw dust the SD is there just to provide the pores for the water to pass thruogh a certian drip rate is specified to be considered good. Expected to last 2 years.

  • There has been a person that has had his in operation for 7 years and going strong. You can use chemicals to kill the viruses to remove the chemicals you can use activated charcoal this can be found in any pet store that carries aquarium supplies. Wally sells a container about the size of a pound of ground coffee for under $8. Many in USA just wants to remove chem and all they need is charcoal and can build their own with a little know how.

Even if you use a pot filter it helps to prefilter.

  • @cdltpx Chlorine is a carcinogen.

colloidal silver kills viruses & bacteria.

  • What people fail to realize is the h2o on this planet is the same water that the dinosaurs drank and processed. It is just that water. We add chemicals to kill bacterium then process that water by

filtration. It you have a pool you have a bulk water storage source. Pass that water through activated charcoal and it is safe to drink if maintained the pool has already been chemically treated. Muratic acid chlorine can be removed with filtration. You can make your own activated charcoal if you wish

  • Monolithic Dome Incorporated sells a ceramic filter based on the same system for $24. They send you a ceramic filter a sock and a spigit you go to the hardware store buy 2 buckets or garbage cans of equal size ahd assemble the filtration system. The filter is good for at least 6 months can be inverted and cleaned out. I would like to use one to filter rain water. I have both of MDI filters ordered one is a pressure filter with cativated charcoal inline filtration excellent for clean water.

  • Where I live the H2O is excellent out the tap it taste perfect but when I was seperating the H2O to prodeuce hydrogen I found that if I filtered the water the reaction was quicker and less byproduct was left behind so ther is something in the water probably chlorine flouride etc. You never know when there is a bursted line underground so it is a good percaution to filter your water. If you use well water you already know its best to filter I have yet to find a well supplied home that was ideal.

  • Thanks I ordered 1 for testing I thing the flower pot desighn would be better but a good emergency waterfilter for a family for under 50 bucks would be a great value

  • Their water filter handler is lacking customer service skills. I ordered on a weekend the 4 th i think I waited till a week passed and no filter so I called and no answer left message they called later and left me a message I didnt get to call them for a few more days when I did call and got someone they said they were backordered expected to get another shipment approx week. In short I know these people I have been to their campus she is just a dits.

  • As of today I have yet to get my filter and any other contact I can't say if they shipped are still back ordered or what. They shipped over 13K to Haiti granted they need them and more. What should ahve been done was she should have done was blanket email all that were expecting let them know the item was back ordered or at least told them when they ordered to prevent any misunderstanding. Let me know when you get yours Ill let you know when I get any news.

  • Great find thanks for the upload.

  • great find no new filters or salts for clean water

i could be way off but do you think its good enough to filter out fluoride and other additives to water?

    ☆☆☆☆☆

  • Great find. Many thanks.

  • What size are these pores? Gotta be 3 microns or less for real filtering right?

  • these are not filters they are less than .3 micron they are purifiers no bacteria make it thru even filters/kills virus due to silver impregnation

  • Well I'm not arguing with the results. A quick search I just did gave me some pretty promising information. So thanks for the video.

I'm not so sure about the conspiracy though. That I'll have to look into.

  • ★★★★★

  • This is awesome! I have looked it up and am trying to order myself one of these for already known reasons! This is a great product and I just have to have one! Great video with great info.

  • also a vid on you tube ,great idea you found for clay filter

Ceramic colloidal silver water filters. Produced in Ghana by Ceramica Tamakloe Ltd

  • Yes I know they are producing these all over the world and by US compianys but they are not making them for sale in the US.. Think about it... anyone could put a small clay pot impregnated with silver on there counter and get clean water for under 20 bucks .. what would happen to Britta, Culligan, and other bottled water makers?

  • google Ferro Cement Jar., there is some manufacture guidelines. Lol I had to go internet hunting after watching your vid

  • The clay pot filter purifies water by passing it through the pores of a ceramic which has been fired in an open dung fire. These filters, intended to be affordable for developing countries, were developed by an Australian materials scientist and potter, Tony Flynn.

  • Great video. I'd like to get my hands on one of those.

It's not available in the U.S because it would be "Bad for business" for other companies like you said.

I was thinking the same exact thing TheStealthCamper. That's very true.

  • Wow that is really neat. I did not know that! Terra cotta that is made in the USA is lead free, so it should be safe to use. Terra cotta from Mexico has lead in it, so double check on where the pot is made.

    Awesome video!

    God Bless you.

  • Go for it! Should you have the $ and think you can recoup your investment (show the government literature and include it with each purchase) you may have something good here.

Seriously! I'd rather have SOMETHING for water filtration in an SHTF world than NOTHING.

Being careful to notify the buyer in the literature that the pot needs to be lightly covered with a cloth to help keep dust and impurities down.

NEVER overstating ANYTHING. Just perpetuate what the government has posted already.

  • Money< Money: If I can get repeat consumption out of you I win. That is the Idea in America for everything. Never Never is the answer for a cure of any disease. Rather I make a pill to take for the reast of your life. Cancer, Sugar, TB, Ect., ...Never Never, will their be a cure. Look at the world today, the big drug companies need a wide spread virus every year now just to meet the goal. Got to keep the shares going, and show positive growth. The demand for no cure is the goal.

  • @TheStealthCamper Well said and it's nice to know that others are awake as well. What we need to know and be aware of ALSO are the ways to handle things without supporting the "Big Pharma".

Should we not know the options, we're just supporting the thing we disagree with.

  • Bro I got a feeling you're gonna be doing pottery now lol

  • Interesting... See if you can get one sent 2 you and test it...

    5/5

  • This is very interesting. I read where cowboys in the old west used to put silver coins in their canteens to make their water safe to drink. I also heard that you even have a better effect if you combine silver coins with copper pennies in your canteen because the two metals set up an electrolytic current which kills the microorganisms.

This clay pot reminds me of green clay and other special clays that can be applied to wounds on your body and the clay will actually kill microorganisms.
