  • RHAPSODY OF FIRE!! (if you didnt know he's the dude who replaced Luca Turilli)

  • so Neo-Classical is like classical speed metal type thing?

  • @Sleyt707 Neo-Classical is exactly what the name implies...a modern take on classical music.

  • If video pauses make it 240p.

  • any tips to learning sweeping anyone? shud u use a metronome? i need tips for this

  • @drjakim YES!!!! metronome is a necessity!! dont cut corners, start at 5 bpm if you have to!! youre only hurting yourself if you cut corners in guitar

  • @CitySkateboards metronomes aren't an absolute necessity. They are very useful tools and everyone should try using one, but there are other methods which are just as helpful that may even be better depending on your learning style.

  • @iloveasdf what other methods?

  • what type of guitar do you use the most and why?

  • Once again - way to go Tom...you help keep the neoclassical genre exciting...you the best Ive heard since Theodore Ziras..except you seem to have slightly more feel than Theo

  • Hi Tom, do you have any lessons that I could look at that would help me with my alternate picking speed? It would be greatly appreciated if you could direct me to a lesson.

  • Now this guy.. is not just a guy. He is my new guitar idol. What accuary, wot epic speed, wot crazy melody.. totaly speechless

  • The whole goal is to develop your ear to match your playing level. Therefore, you can play anything you hear. If you can't hear it, it may be better off not trying to play it.

  • iv seen god..

  • alternate picking or directional? i've heard tom uses directional but i keep reading things about how it's "incorrect". i really like players like paul gilbert and the incredible playing of malmsteen and i think they use alternate.

  • I know that malmsteen uses alternative picking and he also uses alot of string skipping as quite a few virtuosos use.

  • both will sound absolutely sick if u can keep the timing right :)

  • 5 stars. I like the whole thing, but :33+ is completely amazing.

  • He actually did a sweep tap (way harder) on the minor arpeggio with the middle finger of his right hand.
