To me, this was the easiest boss since all attacks were easy to predict except one, which is the one where it spits out that blue homing... something... against you. it just tooka a few seconds to notice it, but the rest, I figured them out almost instantly.

the one where it slams his fists to the ground & creates shockwaves were typical to me.

It also upsets me that they included one hundred thousand things to scan again. Scanning items and loading them into a database is not something from the originals they added that in of their own accord and it annoys the daylight out of me.

The story behind Ghor is a strange one. Im pretty sure he wasn't human but I believe he lost his body when he was on one of his missions. He then got it replaced with a surgery that made him a robot.

I think this is the story I could be wrong its been like a year and a half since i played this.

There's no offivial consensus on Ghor. His species is never listed and his body structure is very similar so we may never know.

Sorry about the long wait for an answer, but I'll answer now. No, Ghor's species is never stated, it onl;y says that he is a veteran of the civil war on Wotan VII and in the war, was shattered and rebuilt, leaving him with just a 6% of his original body, presumably his brain. But his species is not said. I personally like to think that's he's a Luminoth but that's just me.

Well, he's tall, skinny, has a really prominent chest, small red eyes, a round tiny head, mandibles serving as a lower jaw, and three fingers. Nobody else comes close.

Well, at the very least, the military is made almost entirely of humans. We haven't seen many of the actual leaders. Plus, remember, Samus is a human/alien hybrid, so she isn't fully human...yea, I know she isn't officially part of the Federation, but she works for them, so it works.

True. Well, some of it might be that it's easier to design humans than aliens...lazy game designers! :P Still, maybe that'll change someday. If not, it's not that huge of a deal. Besides, it wasn't the hunters' fault they turned evil. Even if the Federation is made up entirely of humans, they're virtually useless. Why else do they need Samus to save their asses?

Yeah...the bastards! Hopefully the Federation isn't totally evil, but the signs are not promising. Hopefully they resolve that eventually...along with the lack of positive aliens! Besides the Luminoth and the uncorrupted hunters, we haven't actually seen any good aliens in game. The Chozo are another good alien race, but they're gone.
