  • You'v inspired me to get back into mine, i gave it a break for a while cause i thought Bah, its only a 3/4 but now im gonna practice it heaps

Thanks dude, you have fans down in australia too!

    Har

  • you've got that great rockabilly sound and can easily transition to faster styles. inspirational haha

    what size bass is that?

also, im a beginner and if u could give me some helpful tips on either slapping or increasing speed it would be most helpful.

    thanks

  • it is a 3/4 sized bass.

as a beginner my best advise would be practice and practice alot. i know that it is tired advice, but it's true. always push yourself to be trying new things, and new songs. playing along with songs, as most of my videos on here was also a great tool. it is also what i did when learning guitar and electric bass. again, thanks for viewing and best of luck. any more questions, just ask.

  • thanks, i appreciate it.

ive played with my cousin's bass nd felt like the right size but didnt know what size it was haha

maybe you've heard of his band the BEZURX.

i'll look into basses nd practice til my fingers bleed haha. thanks again

  • quarreling

  • Good job man! you can play it like this. but i think its easyer to stay up on your fingerboard, i use as much open strings E A D G i can and with songs wich goes faster then thats alright my mama its very handy!

try to play 20 flight rock from eddie cochran and begin each chord with a open string then you know what i mean ;) maybe its got nothing to do with this song but it took me a long time to understand that i didnt need to go down my fingerboard to play allot of songs :)

    cya !

  • hell yeah

  • how are ya, i jus got told yesterday that to audition for this awesome metal band i had to learn this song (showing versatility). now ive been playing for about 5 years, so i do know what im saying. i just noticed the tab seems really syncopated, and then i found this video and it sorta proved my suspicion. syncopated riffs mess my head!!! well done btw i always wanted to play double;)

  • Very good! You play the wooden bass very well!

  • very good man, please watch our version.

  • A man who plays the basse... I love it

  • maybe i start up with that song...but i it feels like i have to get the strings down... its very hard to slap.

    u got tips?

im a real beginner... got my bass 2 days ago and figured out "have love will travel" "stand by me" and some standart schemes so far =D

  • thanks, one good one to watch on here for good tips is memphisevil, he is very good, and has a few instructionals,

  • la versión original es de ARTHUR CRUDUP del año 1946, grande ARTHUR CRUDUP.
