...I must be a stupid girl I just don't understand how to play it on a uke using the same chords, why does it mean when you say : D/C how should I play this chord? It's a two in one or one before the other, I mean, D before C ????

@MaydAvril don't worry not a stupid question at all! Its just a shorthand way of saying you play a D chord with a C in the bass, so basically take out the lowest D of the chord you're playing and replace it with a C (basically 2 frets lower), I'm not great at the ukelele so I don't know how much sense that makes but hopefully it helped?
