Friend of mine showed me this first time 3 years ago.. I first it thought it was pretty good but wasnt really all impressed.. over the years it has grown and grown every single time i listen to it, until now, its one of my absolute favourite tunes EVER.

@HuggableHam It doesn't matter what program you use, most people use Ableton, Reason or FL. Reaons probably the most difficult to use out of the three, FL probably the easiest and Ableton probably the most innovative. Most start in FL because its easy as hell to learn but progress to one of the more complicated programs to better suit their work-flow. You'll figure it out and have some fun. Just dont get discouraged if you only make shit tunes to start with, have to start somewhere!

Can some please explain to me... I don't understand how a dnb artist's style will dramatically change when / if they go commercial.

Is it because they'll be expected to make music that only the mainstream listens to? Or is it because they'll be getting paid so won't put as much effort into what they do? Or is it even because commercialisation sucks the soul from things?

Every tune that is selled is commercial, whatever you can say or think, if it's made to be sell it doesnt mean it's bad or something but just that it's made to be listened by a greater part of the population...
