That actually shocked me, I always thought that William Hague was the one sane voice in the Torry party. I used to be a conservative member, but left and joined UKIP because of despair over the EU. Untill the conservatives make a firm anti EU stand, they will never get my vote again.
I certainly don't trust the tories yet. Their past history tells us that they were (and probably still are) part of an entrenched establishment that is working towards a global socialist government, disguised by a veneer of democracy. They may not be brazen globalists like labour but that is not a reason to trust ANY of their rhetoric.
Except that while we are in the European Union we are run by the European Union so it's either completely stupid or another Tory lie to keep the populace happy and sedated whilst we lose everything slice by slice.
They've tried this for decades with no success. Exactly how long are you prepared to wait for something that from past experience is unlikely to ever happen?
Indeed, it may not have happened in the past, but thats really because no-one has ever tried. It seems to me that UKIP want to take the easiest option without regard for its severe economic consequences.
He has to say that because we're now so deeply embroiled in the EU that leaving outright overnight is seen by 'opinion formers' as a too radical act. Hence he'll instantly get hit with charges of 'extremism'. Step by step is a likely more productive strategy - first get back some powers, any powers. Forcing the EU into reverse may cause some interesting gear-grinding and provide further opportunities. Of course, whether the Tories can be trusted to do even that is another, important question.
I've heard from some sources that its possible on June 4th that UKIP could overtake Labour. I hope this source is correct because think of the message that would send to the EU & Gordon Brown.
thank you for posting this....so when arte you going to get a projector and project this on the sides of buildings so people will be forced to see this stuff.?> there at present a state of war in the political sense to save england. if you lose america is doomed.
Hannan would do a far better job at Westminster. Being the rebel he is would cause problems for the Tories.
Even with Dan's outspoken views Dave would be pressured into getting him into a safe seat if he wasn't an MEP. Die-hard conservatives can vote UKIP with a clear conscience even in Dan's region.
Ukip, what you do here is great. Can't thank you enough for this plain no nonsense info about Europe...if only the mainstream media would show this stuff.
However, I could show it to well over half of the UK population (and several other countries for that matter) and simply get called a conspiracy theorist......(yes despite it being very hard to video someone who looks and sounds exactly like the politicians) because it's "on the internet".

In Europe but Not Run By Europe - it was a winning slogan for the Conservatives in 2004 and there's nothing wrong with it.

Thats an extremely negative way to look at things. The E.U. can be changed, if the U.K. actually takes an active interest in its policies.

"severe economic consequences" - Come again?
You have to question why we need another layer of supra-national government at all?
Can you tell me why the so-called conservative hierarchy want this version of big government so badly that nothing must be put in its way?

We're ahead of the Lib Dems already so that would be another step up the ladder.

ukipwebmaster-while we are on the subject of Tories what do you think of Daniel Hannan? He's on your side isn't he?

I am a British and Israeli citizen. Can I vote here?

If you are registered to vote then you can.

Personally I don't really care how Hague would vote on the EU.
He is entitled to his own view on the EU.
The important issue is to allow everyone the right to express their own vote.

This is Tory policy not his personal view.

I heard or read somehere that the Tories will kill the Lisbon Treaty if they got in.

Tory spin and bluster to try and dent the UKIP vote.
