  • Loved watching your video! Devoted One is an amazing, beautifiul dog!

  • You have a great herder on your hands! =] It's so interesting how he/she moves in all those different directions and everything! It's cute too ^_^ =]

  • that border looks like it is having so much fun!

  • What does it mean when the collie lies (lays?) down on the ground? He keeps going down and then getting back up again to run? What does this signal the sheep to do? Very intelligent and impressive dog.

  • The border collie is acting as a one-wolf wolfpack. When a wild wolf pack hunts, they surround a herd of animals and one of the surrounding wolfs lies down to draw the herd in its direciton.

  • At first, I thought that was an Australian Shepherd.

  • Excellent video and thanks for sharing. Your girl/boy is amazing.

The one thing I really love to pay attention to when watching BC herd is how they absolutely LOVE what they're doing. It's like they know it's an art and are damn proud of it too! ;)

  • @magnoliasouth

Thank you. Devoted enjoys whatever kind of work he's doing. Just to please his master. :)

  • your dog is unbelievable!

  • Wow, don't see many merle bc's in herding. Nice too see! Just starting my bc, Paige and have a 12 year old who recently retired.

I've heard it said that you are always training your last dog - how true! and they are so different, went from intense to laid back and biddable. both have their pros and cons...

  • What a beautiful dog. Nice cover! He (she?) moves just like my girl, who is also a blue/tri merle and is also currently training on the shed. My girl is extremely pushy (as reflected in most judges' comments). I feel like Casey Jones sometimes as I watch another train wreck unfold. I see a lot of that strength and enthusiasm in your dog but you have excellent control. Good luck with her/him! Are you in the UK? Cetrulo, maybe the dog drops on her own?

  • You have very very calm sheep. Must make it so much easier when training your dog. Where are you guys from?

  • @steveale1

We're from Hungary. And these sheep are terribly heavy. Now we've much better ones. ;)

  • exsept balls

  • i have a border collie, we got him from the rspca cause he cant heard sheep, he cant keep his mouth shut or concentrate

  • wow. all i have to say is that your dog is AMAZING. i wish i could get my Bear who is australian/ border collie 50/50 mix to do somethin like that!!

  • great video! and great music!

What's the name of the first song ???

  • It is only one song, from Lord of the dance :o)

  • Why don't you let this dog walk up on his sheep and work??? He looks quite talented but I never get to see it because he is always dropped when he hits balance.

  • @cetrulo

    hi,

the reason is veeeery heavy sheep and unexperienced handler. I'd never let my dog be traind on such sheep again... but Devoted is working now with his own light sheep and yes, it looks much better! ;))

  • It's wonderful to see your border herding!Mine is also an Of Marannshome, like Devoted One!! ;) I enjoyed your video very much! Keep making them!!

  • Wow, you've got a very talented BC. I'm hoping to get a red merle puppy soon and compete with it in agility and herding. Your blue's outruns look very nice. He has a nice stride and great concentration.

  • Tri-colors rule!

  • great work!

  • What a beautiful herding bluemerle BC!

  • Please get some lighter sheep for this dog.

  • Amen. And stop dropping him all the time.

  • nice and interesting !

have you got some difficult for learn this job of your dog?

I have a border collies and I'd like learn that for my dog (lonly)

I have horses and she (the dog) is very endowed with my horses! she never have a

    drawn for sheepdog !

please, saw my videos about my border collies, and write a comment !
