Hey Eva, Watching from Old England. As you say, "slice of life" stuff; interesting subjects makes for compelling viewing. Keep up the great work - we're hooked.
Thanks Jack! Can't wait to have the pleasure of meeting your whole family in 2008! Cor blimey!! Wait til you hear my English accent - can do upper crust AND Manchester and cockney! Cherrio! xo Eva
Hmm, recognised some of those pics. :) I also recommend Jim Woodring's very odd, very funny, very haunting, dream-like work. And I shall look into this 'Not a Great Cat' fella - yes, with my eyes.
Hey Eva. Good interview. i like james personally. I am not a big fan of the comics tho. Dont get me wrong... I read them, i just think they are assinine and juvenile. yet strangely enough, i just cant look away. go figure.
Ah hah! SEE, they pull you in! I think they are an amazing slice o' life and I really dig all the super strange freaky characters James invents as well. It is like seeing the world through a magician's eyes.
And i am also a big fan of his music - it has spunk, creativity and heart to spare - not to mention a public service announcement to wash your ass! ;)
this is a very cool series.

I'm from Stowe and I think James Kochalka is the greatest. Awesome video!
