  • I am American, study Russian, and love Poland. God bless the slavic people and this beautiful music they create!!!

  • today is the anniversary of Polish anthem...I like this version....with heart and energy....can't stand many of Pol.nat. anthem versions on yt..now I'm looking for a great piano version of Polish anthem....all I found was baaaad;-))

  • I'm not Polish, but this is one of my favorite anthems for a number of reasons. For one, IT ROCKS! I love triumphant music and this is about as triumphant as it gets. For another, I'm moved by the story about the siege of Warsaw during the first weeks of WWII. The Poles played their anthem over and over and over and over again for days until at last their great city fell to the barbarous Nazis. To the memory of all the Poles who died in the war, be they Gentile, be they Gypsy, be they Jew.

  • Kocham cię Polska

  • Greetings from Hungary :)

  • So far this is the best version of the song I've heard on You Tube but there's one that's even better. So far I can't find it anywhere. I used to have it on CD back in 1997. The CD was called "National Anthems of the World". I forgot the name of the orchestra.

  • From Indonesia

    Long Live Poland!

  • Najlepszy naród, Najlepszy hymn co tu gadać :D

  • I always get goose bumps when I hear this... God Bless Poland!

  • i love you poland, we will reach out high

  • Best National anthems are, Poland, Soviet Union, Germany, Russia and Yugoslavia ;)

  • Awesome, beautiful anthem :)

Pozdrowienia dla mojego kochanego Narodu ;)

  • Fantastyczne tempo!! W takim tempie powinien być grany nasz hymn!!

  • czybciej sie kurwa nie da ?

  • @loque3 Nie, nie da!

  • Nice music.

    Greetings from Azerbaijan.

  • Why is it that the best nations have the best national anthems? And Poland is at the top of the list.

  • @kohl57 My favourites are: Russia, The US, Israel, Imperial anthem of Iran (not the current Islamofacist one) The dixie anthem, Saudia Arabia (instrumental) and North Korea. I hate the last two countries, but the anthems are beautiful

  • @Byron10301

Mine are Poland, Russia, Netherlands and Canada. And agree, one doesn't have to admire a country to think its national anthem is stirring.

  • this tune is Awesome

    :D

  • Poland shout have a own European Union with Czech Republik, Slowakia, Hungary, Serbia and Romania and Bulgaria also Moldavia....We should not be slave for West !!!!

  • Romania, Moldavia and Bulgaria? why?

  • It was already such a thing - the Warsaw Pact:) Poland and our brotherly Slavic nations is better in the European Union

  • Former Yugoslavia had a national anthem with the same melody as Polish anthem but with text of Hey Slavs, a song dedicated to the Slavic peoples. Nice video.

  • Not exactly same melody my friend..

  • not the same but only similar. Anyway it was fun because it is often misleading - especially football players before matches Poland and Yugoslavia:)

  • OK. so the truth is that melody of "Hey Slavs" is based directly on Mazurek Dąbrowskiego (although much slower), but it was written before it became Polish Anthem

  • Long live for Poland and all Slavic nations!! :)

  • Sounds like Yugoslav antehm "Hey sloveni"

    :)

  • Hey sloveni is based on polish anthem.

  • @LongLivePoland I thought Polish anthem and hey Slavs are based on Slovakian anthem HEy Slovaks

  • @asdfasqwrt lyrics for Hey Slovaks wrote Samuel Tomášik in 1834 and he took the melody from Mazurek Dabrowskiego. Then the Yugoslavia was inspired by that song as well, and then in 1927 it became also Polish anthem :)

  • @zeib10 And who wrote the MAzrek Dabroskiego?

  • @asdfasqwrt as far as I know the author is unknown, but I may be wrong

  • @zeib10

yes, melody's author is unknown. but words (i don;t know if i can call them "lyrics") were written by Józef Wybicki.

  • @xoagatkaxo thanks, I didnt know that. and yes they can be called lyrics

  • Yugoslavians borrowed Polish anthem melody.

  • thanks my friend!
