  • I love this song.

When I hear this, I think about people walking around the city, I don't know why.

    But, great song.

  • Favorite song :)

  • BBC F1!

  • Got this CD for my dad for christmas, ended up stealing it after a couple of weeks just because it's so good I never have to skip a song.

  • I swear that everytime I hear that part at 3:05, I just lose it. It has to be one of the most emotional, strong, and defiant buildups I have ever heard. I normally enjoy viking metal, but I have not come across many things that are as raw as the bass buildup and the point at 3:24 when the guitar just lets loose. I just get a vivid picture of human muscle being pushed and exhausted until it is not unlike steel.

  • yikes tooo gooood

  • this is the shit!

  • amazing :)

  • brilliant, all i need to say

  • reminds me of the f1 ...

  • comparing new music to old is like comparing a suit made of food and a real suit

  • One of the BEST albums of ALL time!!

  • I love Lindsey Buckingham's solo.

  • I'd think 'Ooh, this guy could be a keeper!' if you played it on a first date w/ me. I'd be psyched as hell!

  • The best part of this song is that it showcases all of the amazing vocal talent in this band.

  • @TheDommeran the word is despire

  • this is one of the best albums made. mic fleetwood put onehelluva good band together..........

  • @mikel71367 I go way back with the Mac!

  • "Run in the Shadow! Damn your love, damn your lies!"

  • Guys, when this band were going strong they were probably seen as mainstream music, and people were probably talking about the good old 40's and 50's and how they produced great music.

    Just some food for thought.

  • What a Good Song! li love the guitar :)

  • Fleetwood Mac " Rumors '' is still # 1 of all times!

  • Excellent.

  • 3 valentino rossi fans

  • I will not skip to 3:05. I will not skip to 3:05. I will not skip to 3:05. I will not skip to 3:05.

  • i want to thank you for uploading all these songs in 1080p, the sound quality is a million times better than fucking 360p

  • I agree blown70chevelle.., that's why all the great artist of today are all throw backs and where greatly influenced by great artist from the past, mostly from the 70s era.

  • What an album! What a song!

  • @fieldsofbliss What can you say?

  • @fieldsofbliss Genius is always genius.

  • This song is timeless. It was originally released in 1977, however I believe it could be released today and still top the charts! .... and if you're on a date, and the other person in the car disagrees, kick them the fuck out!

  • I'm 18 y.o. Listen to the lp every month :)

  • capolavoro

  • Love the sound of that metal body guitar in this piece.

  • The seventies would not have been the same without this incredible album..had it on vinyl, and casette...good times!

  • great song ;)

  • I played this song on a date and the girl thought I had a weird taste in music......"THE FUCK OUT THE CAR"

  • @65ChevyElco That is the same thing I said!!!!

  • @65ChevyElco Not wierd...Fucking awesome

  • @65ChevyElco old school music will never die! ppl are to blind to give it a chance. Instead they wanna dance like a fukin epileptic, to stupid beats with no soul behind em. Wake up the 70s created the best music.

  • @blown70chevelle who are you to say what music has soul behind it? I love and appreciate the classics, but the electro & hip hop I listen to has boatloads of soul. (albeit not really comparable to the soul of music of the 60's and 70's) have hope for the music of the future people, there are still talented artists out there

  • @65ChevyElco lmao, she's defff not a keeper!

  • @65ChevyElco See, this is why I ask a woman what kind of music she likes before the actual date...

  • @65ChevyElco Bad luck for you bro... My girlfriend actually loves this song and Fleetwood Mac in general. xD

  • @65ChevyElco amen lol

  • @65ChevyElco bitch needs a kick in her fanny

  • @65ChevyElco ; you could of been MUCH smoother and told to her : To Go Her Own Way....

  • @65ChevyElco She's nuts. Awesome music....

  • @65ChevyElco raly nice!! x

  • @65ChevyElco WTF? You need to break that chain then.

  • @65ChevyElco Tha fuckkk?? If a guy I was with played that in his car I'd be so excited!

  • @65ChevyElco WAHAHAHA. YES YESSS

  • @65ChevyElco I would marry you dude.

  • @65ChevyElco

    I'm With You!

  • @65ChevyElco LMAO!!... she must've been born after 1988... not many kids these days even heard of Fleetwood Mac

  • @shakenama I'm 15. Kids these days have much better musical tastes than adults think.

  • @IIEvoGamingII I'm 21. Kids these days act like kids did in the 1970's thinking that their generations music is the best. The problem is that we don't take music as a whole into consideration. Rhapsody in Blue is much better than this song, but I'd still rather listen to this song than Rhapsody. At the same time you may think this is a good song, but you'd rather listen to something like Party Rock over it. It's just the difference in the generation. But I still like this more than today's crap.

  • @Abevel12 there is a ton of good artists that have come and gone since !

  • @IIEvoGamingII I hope so... because I don't really think Lady Gaga and Keisha can get anywhere near the fame that Mic Fleetwood and the gang did. lol :D

  • @shakenama True..but i'm 18 and i'm represiting for my generation : )

  • @faerywitchful1 hey!... there ain't nutin wrong with that. :)... But...define what your generation listens too. :D

  • @shakenama I'm in high school so everyone in my class was born in the 90's, and I don't know anyone who has never heard of Fleetwood Mac.

  • @xxxscrubsxx Lol my teachers don't even know, and they're in their 30s and 40s

  • @cooldude1234707 Now thats sad!! LOL!

  • @65ChevyElco Did you atleast get to take her for a test ride first?

  • @65ChevyElco I would have thought you had excellent taste in music!

  • My dad listened to nothing but Fleewood Mac while we were on our family reunion, and this song, and all others on that CD are forever burned in my head, and I like it!!!!

  • one of the best bands of the mid-late 1960's with Peter Greene

  • the best song from the best band of the seventies

  • oh my god, i clicked the wrong link and ended up hearing this..IT'S AMAZING!!!

  • Hot damn! Haven't heard this song in forever. Beautiful!

  • jak dla mnie rewelacyjna, szczególnie pod koniec od 3:03. Az mnie rozpierdala!

  • The bass is so freakin' epic in this. This song is sort of...subtle..but so powerful. Bloody amazing, one of my favourites of theirs.

  • A friend of mine bought this album in 1977 and after listening to it said he hated it. I bought it from him on the spot and it still has the original vibe for me. Fleetwood Mac had two albums, "Obscured By Clouds" and "Bare Trees" before Nicks and Buckingham joined that I just could not listen to so when my friend bought this album I was skeptical but man there wasn't a bad tune on it.

  • @Ruhlmann1 Dont remember a Fleetwood Mac album called Obscured By Clouds. Thats a Pink Floyd album.

  • @bryemycaz I stand corrected......it has been a long time.

  • One can only think of Sunday nights on BBC2 and the voice of the legendary Murray Walker

  • 1080p on a song? That's rare. I like it.

  • and fuck whoever disliked this. seriously.

  • @xxkillerkat6xx I am hoping they slipped by accident. The whole rumors Album was awesome.

  • i think this is the best thing i've ever heard in my life.

  • that bass is sooooooo fucking classic.

  • great song, magic photo for album cover

  • @zzzcherryzzz yeah, especially the balls ;) love the record!

  • Been listening to this album since I was a kid and still love it now i have my kids listening to it!!

  • Gorgeous !

  • holy shit, I'm pretty sure I'll be listening to this song for the rest of my life!

  • *Repeat*

  • break the silence damn the dark damn the light...

  • For a long time I thought 'We would never break the chain' was 'We would never pray for change.'

  • generally when a person cannot love another... especially the way they are supposed to be loved.. it's because that person doesn't love themselves and usually cheaters are broken people.

  • This is a BAD jam right here....people that limit themselves to 1 genre of music truly lead a dull exsistence

  • 5:22 AM cant sleep, work in 4 hours this is great song or maybe its just great acid either way i fuckin love it

  • @NASkeywest it is great :D hope you wasnt too tired in work :)

  • CHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNN...will keep us togetherrrrr

  • Best recording of this song!STILL have it on cd but had to put it in my UTube stuff too!

  • @MegLuvzLife -I mean record and cd

  • LOVE IT!!! One of the greats

  • the most amazing song on an amazing album!!! there are very few albums I'd tell people to listen too all the way the way through. this is one of them.

  • fleetwood mac <3 great example of great music.

  • this is 1 of the great BANDS of the 70s & 80s still love listening to them

  • That's really awesome!

  • I think Buckingham says "fuck" in the very beginning.

  • @Oallright Yes - aparently he bumped into something in the studio, and didn't realise they were recording. It is on the original vinyl, was edited off the initial CD releases {including compilations}, but the full cut was used for the remastered CD.

  • awesome song!!

  • @satinisthree - Just because it's simple doesn't mean it doesn't sound good. Even bands that were known to push the envelope of creativity, like Led Zeppelin, still had VERY simple, yet driving, jams (i.e. Immigrant Song).

  • @yadidimeanmaine You're very right. I was just being a dick, really.

  • this is gonna sound really weird, but his song has always reminded me of bohemian rapsodhy be Queens...

  • @032496 Now, just don't break the chain.

  • She was so overexposed in the mid- to late-70s that she defined commercial, non-disco music, but I still love Stevie Nicks.

  • Love this! Thanks!

  • its very,very,very gooddddddddddddd

  • @CrownedPeaches FYI, there is a program on BBC Radio 2 called "the Chain" where they start every show by playing that solo

  • Actually, The Chain is the only song that all them members of Fleetwood Mac were able to stand each other long enough to write something. Don't forget that Lindsay Buckingham was a talented writer. Everyone was kind of off in their own corners for this album. Rumors is the sound of a band breaking up...

  • @kayspinner Lindsey may have been a talented writer, but he was, simply, an abusive idiot otherwise. Period. Ask Stevie...

  • @SirTrews34 No Lindsey bashing please, lol..Without him , we would'nt have had alot of good FM albums,

  • It's interesting to me that these lyrics are all Stevie. Would it still be good without her? Perhaps... but I doubt it very much

  • that riff is PH fat

  • The melody Mc Vie playes on his Baseguitar at 3.10 is just fantastic, never get tired of listening to it over headfones , specially when offered in such good quality!!many thanks to chissykim!

  • thanks , there was no mac on u tube thanks !

  • 3:00
