@Pigeonification now ur just exaggerating. I do admit, the App Store is awesome, and especially after you jailbreak your iDevices, Cydia & tons of other repos give you pretty much free (pirated) apps/games etc. But a billion things more?? Not even. An iPhone & iPod Touch can do just as much. Most apps are just ported onto the iPad to make it fit the resolution and large screen, but there are VERY FEW that are created specifically only for the iPad, and not for the iPhone / iPod Touch.

Check your email, Look up information, copy and Paste, Be a Camera, Turn on your lights/car, Be a GPS, Be your best friend and I could go on and on. I'm sure it can do many millions if not a billion. But I do see your comment and I respect it. Buisness people often email, check news, browse the web, its good for that. But why would you want to get PC Software when you can get the best of Apples? Netbooks lets face it, they suck

But back to the discussion, i thought we were talking about iPad?? Then, i'm pretty sure it doesn't have a camera......and while those you mentioned do sound good, but i also mentioned that they're the same on the iPhone or iPod Touch, that's why i needed a very good reason to get the iPad exclusively.

@Pigeonification i mean, i do like my iPod Touch, i jailbroke it too and love it, but it's not like the iPad offers anything more or better other than a bigger screen......and more expensive ><''. So ya, i need a very good reason to get it only for the exclusive features or contents/apps on it, that i couldn't get on the iPhone or iTouch. And i'm pretty sure, technology devices can't be your best firend lol....

@Pigeonification and it's not *great* for Business man.....what exactly can it do that helps a businessman that any other device, or laptops/notebooks (way cheaper btw) that can't do?? I've yet to seen anything amazing for it that's made for businessman. I know iPad isn't suppose to compete against the notebook market, but with such a big device that u have to carry around like that, i'd rather get a notebook that's way cheaper and with a proper keyboard, and can play hardcore games.

@MrShadowz1337 The iPad can play many Hardcore games, As a matter of fact some of the best games of this time are on the App Store. I really thought "Gee, This thing ig going to be stupid" But when I saw it I really said "This is the best size" It was perfect enough to see, and hold. Maybe you perfer PC Software with a keyboard but Personally if thats bothering you get a attachable apple keyboard, They work wirelessly with an iPad. I do see your very smart and intelligent though.

@Pigeonification and lastly, by hardcore games, i mean actual hardcore games....like Crysis or Starcraft etc, any computer game for that matter. Netbooks don't suck either. I have an Acer Aspire 5740G with i3 Quad Core 2.3Ghz, and a HD 5870 graphics card and 7.1 surround sound built in. It's 17' and all that, with a lot more features, cost less than the iPad.....

I can type a lot faster on it with a proper keyboard, and can game and use all the PC apps.......so ya.

@Pigeonification And unless u can play games like Starcraft 2, Counter Strike, or whatever actual PC game on the iPad, then those APP Store games are NOT hardcore games.

I jailbroke my iPod Touch and downloaded 20GB+ of games, and sure they're mostly fun, but they're not hardcore at all......

Now the camera, There is an app to make your iPhone Camera appear on your iPad Wirelessely. Or any other camera you may have. Your Acer sounds pretty nice I must admit and PC Software is a legend. I just perfer Apple Software better. Well have a nice day! :D

That's not the way corporations work. CEOs are appointed and their salaries are chosen by the company they work for. If the board at Apple wanted to ditch Steve, they could very easily. In fact, they've already ditched him in the past, which resulted in Apple's downward spiral in the 90s.

He saved the company when they brought him back, so I doubt they'll repeat that stupid move. Nevertheless, that option is always open to them and they can pay him as little as he's willing to accept--which, in this case, is $1 a year.
