if invictus (which is about maintaining a possitive attitude whilst battling overwhelming odds in order to overcome hardship) is anti-christian then go get your beloved bible and tear out the entire of the book of exodus, the book of job and all of the new testament ... because let's face facts, my friend :-
1. Exodus is a tale about a man (moses) born to an enslaved race (the hebrews) in a land that isn't their own (egypt), who turns to the most powerful man in the world at that time (2 b cont)

If this series reflects the culture of the Union Bank of Switzerland that produced them -- and it probably does -- I'd like to bank with them.
The 'invictus' one , though, unfortunately seems anti-Christian, but Bates's overly arch, adversarial manner in reciting it might be an implied critique of 'anti-christianism'.
It is a very individualistic (is that even a word?) poem nevertheless. ''I am the master of my fate'' ect. Besides, it being ''Anti-Christian'' is a plus. Christianity is a disease.
How on earth is a poem about overcoming adversity in the face of overwelming darkness anti-christian? thats sort of the theme of the entire new testament, you know? Son of God taking all thats thrown at him and still forgiving his oppressors. Its the reason Christianity became so popular in the first place.

Henley wrote "Invictus" when he was battling tuberculosis. I don't see why it seems anti-christian to you...
