  • was that video in slow motion?

  • @SteveBZ69: Naw man. Crawling and trail running are slower than "racing" RC trucks. It went even slower and smoother when I put a Mamba Max esc and brushed motor in it. It was super smooth.

  • how much couldnt find it

  • @forresto69

Auction only lasted for 10 days. Sold it.

  • This truck is for auction on ebay right now. Without radio, receiver or ESC. ESC is listed seperately

  • nice truck mabye u should try some rocks, i mean like decent size rocks in a natural envirnment withe some muck and mini truck mayhem. the looks of theis truck impress me alot and some of wat i mentioned earlier would make my jaw drop completely off my face

  • @TheBigtime56 Need to make a new video I know. lol

  • how would u make a Newbright RWD Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4WD??

  • is this the truck from readers rides out of some magazine i read?

  • Hello and yes it is. I won Readers rides in the November Issue of Xtreme RC Cars magazine.

  • this is one of the first crawling videos that helped me decide to get one!!!

  • Thank you very much. I have made a few tweaks to it. I moved the battery longways all the way up front. Put 4 wheel steering back under it. Lots of fun to turn off and on via RC controller.

  • looks like it.

  • how do u do the internal mounts?

  • Just used some scrap thin metal and some pieces of nylon that I cut and shaped and then put velcro on body and the top of the nylon. Pause video at the start and check them out in the picture.

  • thanx

  • thats a nice looking scaler. how did you get the green off your stock beadlocks?

  • green liquor from a paper mill. Or use liquid drano.

  • u can also use Greased Lightning.

  • wow it looks just like a real jeep great job

  • which one is better the stock ax10 or hpi wheely king with the crawler conversion

  • Never had a Wheely king. I think they are faster than a kit AX10 and jump better if you want to bash with it. But if you are going to put a crawler kit onto it, I'm pretty sure you would come out cheaper and pleased with an AX10. Only problem with AX10 is the driveshafts pop off. So if you buy one, order some AX10 Scorpion drive shaft rings and install on the shafts. I've not had a problem since. You can find good price on rings at online crawler stores. $25 for 2 trucks.

  • Hi, I agree a video on the suspension setup, chassis, and especially the bumper mod would be great to see.

  • I'll try to make a "under the hood" video one day.

  • just ordered that body

  • I still love my Rubicon!!!

  • wow it must have good shocks

  • dude that is bad ass

where did you get those bumpers?

  • They are Savage bumpers with custom made mounts bolted to the chassis. Easy to do with most metals like aluminum, or nylon, or anything you can find and cut, shape, and file.

  • I am getting the AX 10 this Christmas and I already have a Rubicon body :) Does the stock wheelbase fit the Rubicon body?

  • Yes, it will fit very well with the stock wheelbase.

  • nice rig! looks like it goes well!

  • the chassis looks like its the tcs xtrail.

  • great looking rig, I like the front bumper skid plate set-up!

  • Damn, I tried 3 times to post but it didnt.. went with the x-trail suspension kit with internal springs for droop setup.. flex is crazy for a somewhat scale rig.

  • Very awesome! Looks just like the tcs x-trail chassis I just ordered for my ax10. I happen to be doing pretty much your exact setup..body and all but using more of my axial pieces. I painted my beadlocks gray and will be using the MudSlinger tires for realism. Anyway, your jeep looks great!

  • Thanks, I want to get some mudslingers for mine also. Good luck building yours. Comment back on what shocks you choose to go with.

  • the rubicons my favorite jeep

  • Thanks, I love it too. It looks cool when I run it.

  • that is sooooooooo cool. i love the suspesion. great job. great editing too. could we have a video showing how the suspension works?

    thanks,

  • Awesome jeep ,looks very scale.

  • nice video! does anyone no if these bodies will fit on the axial ax10 rtr? i hate the body that comes on it and want the rtr because it will be my first one and don't have any experiance. also what bumper is that? i love it!

  • Thanks a lot! Check out my reply to previous question about the body. Bumper is an HPI Savage front & rear bumper set. I made the aluminum & nylon mounts for them.

  • Great video what brand is that jeep rubicon body and would it fit on a standard axial scorpion ax10?

  • HPI Jeep Rubicon. Yes it will fit nicely. I put it on top of my son's AX10. You will need to space the body posts out though or get some longer ones. Betty body is 6" wide. The Jeep body is 6 3/4" wide. Wheelbase is the same. You can get the Traxxas body mounts if you don't want to space the Axial's out.

  • thanks for that

  • thank you also.

  • great job!
