  • Great job, dude. The Sovtek Tall-Font Green Russian version indeed sounds identical to the Civil War muff, but the block font Green Russian that you're using sounds great as well.

Check out my cover using the Sovtek Tall-Font Green Russian through my Hiwatt Custom 50 if you'd like :)

  • Solo and tone absolutely nailed. Incredible demo. Would be curious to hear your opinion of the rt-20 and any thoughts you may have on the stomp underfoot versions of various muffs, especially the civil war and the rams head!

    Cheers

  • @RamonZarete

Thanks! I use the RT20 all the time. There are better leslie sims on the market and it's perhaps closer to a very deep chorus but it's a great pedal. Don't have much experience with SUF. Tried the '73 Muff and didn't like it... too much gain and noise. Their Civil War gets a lot of praise though.

  • Good work, excellent.......

  • Congratulations, Bjorn! Just fabulous!

I guess the Big Muff is placed in front of the Laney Cub12 and i wonder how it would sound with te reverb and delay also in front of that stack (instead of adding those in the mix with Logic). By the way, that Laney sounds very, very Gilmourish.

  • Touching as always, and the usual huge tone .I just hope you post some played stuff more frequently ;)

  • Awesome Bjorn. Thanks for posting.

  • THAT IS PERFECTION. Bravo!!!!

I am a guitarist too (since 1975), I cover tons of Pink Floyd too... and other rock, blues, and a little country music. Please have a look at my channel, subscribe and comment too.

  • Bjorn I think you do Gilmour better that Gilmour hahaha!! Just kidding ya. Spot on perfect!!

  • Excellent work!!

  • Awesome playing Bjorn! I have been following you since you started posting here on Youtube and started Gilmourish.

Compared to the record version it is too much leslie. But when you hear bootlegs of the '94 performances, David has a lot of Leslie in the mix. Sounds great Bjorn!

  • awesome

  • Nice! Sounds fantastic.

  • Hi Bjorn, your playing just keeps going from strength to strength my friend. Every new video inspires me to practice more. I wish those tones were what I heard the other night at The Wall concert. The guitars at Rogers concert were very harsh. You always have great tone. Thanks mate for all the tips.

  • you play much better

  • Hey Bjorn that is perfect like the others! You rock man! :) It's unbelievable that you use just a Big Muff (a part of the reverb and delay). It's exactly the same as the original DSOT album! Great job indeed my friend! Cheers

  • Outstanding!!!

  • You make that guitar sing. Well done, Bjorn.

  • The song, the sound and your playing is soooooooo good!!!!!!!

  • Thick n creamy muff loveliness...!!

  • Awesome! Is this the studio version or live version? Great stuff Bjorn

  • @mysoresriram

Thanks! It's loosely based on the live version.

  • i used to have one of these :(

  • OMG, Just amazing.

    It is indeed very inspiring.

  • Oh I would love to get my hands on the Hendrix Black Strap replica. Great sound my friend as usual...Shine On!

  • sounds like you wiped the neck down with angel tears.

  • Impressive tone, sir! BTW - thanks for all your great Gilmour tips, they've been quite useful!

  • too much leslie

  • @EggWS94 Always has to be one

  • @nowhereman3814 I like the sound but it's just too much leslie

  • Oh my god........that tone is absolutely GORGEOUS!!!!

  • Absolutely perfect. (tone and playing).
