The graphics are better than Fifa's, I even think the player movements are a bit better too.

But all the rest is worse, especially tactical gameplay.

PES gameplay consists in dribbling all players including the goalkeeper and make a goal...

Real life is far from it, and in PES that is too easy.

A fact: PES defeders dont anticipate nor regroup (or close) attacks and especially counterattacks... That is the worst thing a defender would do in real life

I find that the contros for PES are less responsive compared to fifa. After I press the arrow key button, the player will make a huge turn and try to regain his balance before running.

inter usually runs a 4-3-3. Cesar in goal; Maicon, Lucio, Samuel, and Santon in back; Zanetti, Stankovic, and Motta at mid; and Balotelli, Milito, and Eto'o up top. hope this helped

Then play FIFA for a bit, it won't happen there. I have both FIFA 10 and PES 10 on PS3, and in FIFA your team tactics and playing style is what matters. In PES, sure, you can beat any team with one Messi, that's why I never play it.

this is the review code for PS3 guys, i hate to admit it but its way too pacey compared to the PC demo i played. Once again im dissapointed, there seems to be still errors with player control & the commentary is still going to be muted. At first glance I thought 'No way are these two top players in the UK'. But having played the demo (PES and WE) for a while now I trust that they probably are. It's not that they're bad at PES - it's that the game is so disjointed and unresponsive that they can't play decent footy. There are countless time in this video where the players are clearly trying things that are failing, not because of their choices or timing, but because of the broken passing and touch/control mechanics of this game.

For example, you can see many times where they've tried the old 'give and go' (I'm not going to list every sngle one), but the return pass has been misplaced or given away. Now, maybe they did intend to place those passes in the direction, and hence the 'wrong' choice was their own fault. But having experienced the problem in this demo and in PES 2009 I can best assume that they've fallen victim to the broken mechanic. The passing in the last two versions has been shoddy.

Doesnt feel as satisfying when you score like it used to in the PS2 games. The goalies parry it to the feet for tap in's just like in Pes 09...Konami said they removed these and clearly they havnt. Ronaldo still skins people easily and the game is way too quick...in fact this is worse than the demo...Only improvement I see than 09 is the atmosphere...Home and away chants are clear by the booing and the celebrations when goals are scored. Other than this its a dreadful game!

PES 2010 has not come out yet....people are just playing demo versions atm and are comparing that to Fifa10 (full version).

Its not fair init, you have got to play the game to know whether it is to your taste or not.

I honestly thought fifa 10 was identical to fifa09 in terms of gameplay but when I played it there was a huge difference

Pes 2010's final code will be good...Konami are moving in the right direction and I'm alredy lookin forward to next years installment
