yeah for hoop and ball ones like this, there are two types, one like just shown and one almost identical but there's a hole right through the little ball. yeah for the little ball with a hole right through you need a small pair of pliers and to gently grip the side of the hoop just next to the ball (on one side with pliers and the other with you fingers) and just pull the two bits either side of the ball away from one another and you should be able to grab the ball out...

if the CBR is new an very tight you may need the right tools although if it is not so tight you shought get it out easily its just all about applying the right amount of pressure to the CBR its tricky but doable

Thats not the correct way. If a captive beads needs to be removed it should be done so with the correct tools. Especially an eyebrow placement due to it being an S2S placement. Trying this way to remove a CBR will not only be difficult but can easily cause micro perforations in the end of the scar tube. Try to remove a CBr this way when its a 14g 8mm ring. pay $8 and get yoursefl the right tools.
