I have a few questions: what is Pat's last name, 'cos I didn't get it, and how did he design Atlantis when Wikipedia says Dennis Koble did? And what dragon is he making? A Prototype to Dragonfire?
I like how a lot of the things mentioned are as relevant now as they were in 1983. Twenty-seven years and we're still applying a lot of the same methods. (Though with FAR less assembly. ;) )
Wow! We're all very lucky that this segment was preserved all these years. You can learn a whole lot just by looking at what is in the office.. the old technology.. and methods.
I came across a documentery that a TV show did about Imagic that was also from the 80's. It was cut into 4 parts and was all about the original creation of Atlantis and everything in between to when they debut it at the CES. I havent been able to find those vids on here since! Has anyone else seen them???
Thanks for posting this clip; as a child of the 70's and 80's, I grew up on the old Atari 2600 and Colecovision video game systems and eat this kind of nostalgia up!

Old post I know, but yes, I've seen the Imagic documentary you mentioned.
The name of the show was "Enterprise", if that helps to find it. I think it got pulled off of youtube. It was an old business show apparently.
