  • That cage was way too small for that guinea pig. Disgusting. But I have that guinea pig hide-out-house. And a white guinea pig that looks just like that guinea pig WITH A GREEN CAGE! But my cage is much, MUCH bigger. Please subscribe to me and check out my channel for some new videos soon. I love you all.

    -TheRealCavyCare

  • @TheRealCavyCare ill check it out

  • My cage looks like this but it is larger, it is a rabbit cage. These cages are fine, just let the piggies out for a couple of hours a day and play with them, if not, get some C&C cubes and make a large play pin for them so they can stay in it during the day, and the smaller cage at night for sleeping.

  • That cage would be small even for a hamster!

  • I know my cage is bigger then that!

Why are you telling us how to care for a guinea pig if we can't take the advise???

  • she is refering thwe guinea pig that has floor time every day

  • I really love your guinea pig pet care videos because it helps me be a better owner to mine.

  • My hamsters cage wasa biger than that !

  • It need a big house

  • Um um um UM STOP SAYING UM

  • what if the hide box is 100% edible?

  • CHILL PEOPLE. goddd...Oh, if u wanna kno what guinea pigs eat, They REALLY like paper.

  • Thats a small cage. If u r getting a gp get 2 and a c&c cage

  • @mrjojoua1430 that would add up to $120 dollars that expencive I get on eguinea pig then later when I have enough I get one more.

  • She says uhm alot!!

  • Guinea pigs should always be kept in pairs or groups, with plenty of space.

  • that cage is to small

  • My sience room has the same one as you but my class has a blue

  • guys, those cages are MADE SPECIFICALLY for guinea pigs! they wouldn't make them so amazingly small that its abusive! They are made for 1 guinea pig, its not too small, yes, you could get a bigger cage, but i don't see anything wrong with it, i have a guinea pig, and my 2 sisters do.

  • @9501dannyboy RANDOMMMMMMM COMMENT!

  • The cage for my guinea pigs is also that small. Because we used back the cage we used for our hamsters that have passed away. But we're planning on buying a bigger cage because they're growing fast and we want them to feel more comfortable. What you think I should put as bedding. Because wood shavings is kinda filthy when they poop and urine. So do you think if I put cloth or old towels, would be better? Or newspapers.

  • @animefreakz91 What i did with my guinea pigs is put fleece at the bottom of the cage. It is actually very easy and costs less money than buying bedding every other week. Buy the fleece that fits into the cage, a little big so they do not climb underneath. I use puppy pads as the first layer, and than place a towel down so the urine soaks into it. You have to wash the fllece a certain way to get the urine to wick through and not stay at the top. It is all over the internet. God luck with them!!!

  • @animefreakz91 i would use some hay dont use wood shavings it's bad for the Guinea Pig

  • @bluegal65 Oh. Now I bought a newer and bigger cage for them. I also have 2 rabbits now. But my mom suggested that we put them all outside the house so we did T_T. But it's also kind of appropriate because the house is not as stinky as before. But im just worried that they're cold outside at night. and in the afternoon it's hot and humid=.= at night i would cover them with some unused towels/bed sheets.

  • umm i put my guinipig under my window and when the sun shines on the cage my guinipigs will do something like sunbathing and they LOVE THE SUN

  • UM UM UMMMMM UMMMMUMUMUM

  • @Xtina4evahLegend that's normal

  • the cage is too small, the guinea pig is overweight and 3 get a real job.

  • the piggie looks like a marshmellow!! haha cutie

  • GpigGurl and zeenbobZz, STFU. Me and no one else wants to see your failing internet argument taking up the space of comments.

  • The cage is fine. Trust me. I know.

  • @AFurryToon its not fine its a incredible small cage they barley have room to run

  • @supermissdeedee Annnnnnnnnnnnnd that's why you take them OUT and LET them run. You think they just leave em in there? NO??

  • @AFurryToon still the cage is their home they should be able to excercise on their on time not yours

  • See, I want to get two guinea pigs. I will have a small cage, but I will let them run around the house in exchange for their small enviroment ^.^

  • its not small! ffs stupid c&c cage owners piss me off , if its not a 2 story 8 ft cage its nothing!

  • @zennybobZz shut up idiot, how about I lock you in you bathroom for the rest of your life.

  • @GpigGurl i say ur an idiot and how about i kill you and watch you go to the after life ?

  • umm umm umm umm you're an ugly skunk

  • ITS NOT SMALL YOU STUPID FUCKING NO BRAIN BITCHES AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SHES AN EXPERT SHES SMARTER THAN ALL YOU DUMB ASSES

  • i got a guinea pig and i love them

  • @aby471 im getting mine next week

  • that's how big my guinea pigs cage is :(

I don't have the room to make one of those huge DIY cages that people make with the blankets and stuff, I need a creative way to make a suitable cage (I only have one guinea pig; my mom won't let me get another one :(

  • @mIsSsaLysSa you shouldnt have another if you dont have space for even 1.no offense though.

  • @mIsSsaLysSa I'm only allowed to as well, I'm currently attempting to make a larger cage soon because I cleaned my room and have room now xD

  • the cage is not to small if you had it like i had for my first cage its fine. if you put the pigloo in the middle he or she can lap it and i usually had 3 floortimes a day so dont say its to small!

  • @theguineapigpro1

Its too small. Oops I just said its too small!

  • u ay umm alot

  • my pig twiches some time when i take her out she is almost a year old and it usually happens when she sees me reach behind her is this bad

  • maybe she's just popcorning,if not, does she squeal and try to wriggle away? if so, then you want to try to get your piggy more accustomed to you

  • the cage is far too small ... thats close to abusive size! disgusting

  • @doll17face the required size is about 4x2 feet. 7.5 sq. feet is the minimum but i also read you can have a 30x15x15 inch cage as long as you give them enough floor time. its not abusive.

  • @WebkinzKittyxo that cage is not 30"x15" though, its more like 18"x12". its way to small! my piggie has a 30"x18" cage with an upper loft aswell and its way bigger than that. still a bit small. but i give him a lot of floor time. but im just saying that cage is not even 30x15 like you said.

  • @doll17face I'm guessing that the box that was shown in the video is the one that was used to transport it to and from home. As an expert, I'm sure they know that this size of box is not big enough. Also, another think to consider, is that you might not want to lug around a HUGE cage from home to the exotic vet. Just sayin'

  • that cage is SOOO SMAALL ;O

  • Typiskt amerikaner....

  • Hahah, exakt

  • Ja de er så onde ved dyr nogle gange!

  • @Randigtmoln ya it is small but its a good size cage, when you have a big cage and you try to grab ur pet they run away. But with a small cage its easy.Oh and DollFace? Its NOT abusive at all.

  • @Randigtmoln ya it is small but its a good size cage, when you have a big cage and you try to grab ur pet they run away. But with a small cage its easy.Oh and DollFace? Its NOT abusive at all.

  • um like um wood um plastic um like um fuzzy um material.

  • ummm ummm ummm umm ummu mmu mm umm umm umm umm umm umm umm umm umm

  • I've actually made a couple fo tents for my guinea pig sience i have a lot of space in the cage , i just got a square piece of cardboard and bent it in half,i make a new one once at 7-8 days, sience she chews it.

  • I pefer the etible kind becase they can chew it and it is safe for them.;)

  • wood umm boner ummm ummm umm penis ummmm yea ummm ummm guinea ummmmm pigs ummmm

  • im glad im not the only one that the UM drives insane haha

  • just a quick question:if you have your guinea pig long enough(talk to it alot or it hears your voice alot),can he/she start reacting to your voice like squecking or lifting his/her head

  • Um,Um,Um,Um,Um,Um,Um,Um,Um God Dammit.

  • lol

  • you need longer videos

  • am i the only one to notice that she says "um" between every sentence

  • nahh i noticed also tehehehexD

  • my cage 4 my guinea pig is just a clear plastic bucket and it works. I take shoe boxes and cut them in half and stick a half of it in the cage and they like hiding in it, chewing on it, and playing with it, but my baby boy G.P. climbed on to it and got out when i was asleep. He started squeking so i got up and put him back in his cage. he now can't have a hide box untill i get a cage with a lid!

  • Ive noticed lately that my guinea pig has been chewing on her plastic house. Is this a problem or is it normal?

  • idk but my pig does that on the entrence and has gotten half way through and theres been nuttin wrong with her....... except for always eating XD

  • It's normal, however, you can get her plenty of wooden toys for her to chew on. :)

  • mine does that to........

  • its normal :D

  • well... its not a big deal but some plastic can be harmful to giunea pigs so i would recomend getting a wood hideout because its safe for pigs to injest or you could make one out of cardbord.

  • Comment removed

  • I have a large plastic pipe...is that acceptable?

  • Willow wood tunnels are fine for guinea pigs to chomp on, and its fairly essential to provide something to chew - They need to wear their ever-growing teeth down. Those teeth can grow so long they cannot eat any more - Keep an eye on them (if they stop eating they won't live very long and teeth is usually the reason).

  • this video didnt hep at all

  • the cage in this video is like identical to my guinea pig's lol

  • you should just buy an edible house, then it doesn't matter if they chew it.

  • if i put any kind of paper of card board or whatever in there my guinea pig will eat it... :/

  • Your guinea pigs need a hidey house, or else you will cause them unecessary stress.

  • I totally disagree. Hide boxes make it so your guinea pig will never come out and be sociable. A guinea pig becomes a much better pet if you can train it to be comfortable around people rather than hiding in a plastic cover like that. Start training them at just a few weeks old by holding them and stroking their hard upper noses.

  • umm iwas wondering cause i get carbord boxes and cut a hole for them and i place it around there cage but the y eat them is that alright . and i have one thoses igloo thigs but my guinea pigs dont like it cause it is thesame suze as the one on ur vid but i dont kbnow why my guinea pigs dont like it ? cam u plz tell me

  • the pig in the video looks sorta like one of mine, well hes albino as well so exactly alike

  • The cage is a little bit small. My pet guinea pigs have really big cages that are originale for pet rabbits. In this small cage the guinea pig gets really fast overweight. That is not very well for their health! The bigger the cage the better for the guinea pig. And guinea pigs do need company of their own kind. And yes I have pet guinea pigs for over eight years and I know where I'm talking about!

  • my class room guinea pig has the same castle!

  • i have the same cage and igloo

  • what could you use as a hide box for a ginea pig? as mine is getting a lil chubby lol

  • i used a little plastic stackable storage cube

  • you could either buy one or recycle your cage box and use that

i cut out a box just the size of my guinea pig for the winter (so that warmth is easily contained) and double his size for the summer (so that heat can vendlate out; dunno if i spelled that right)

  • then stop feeding it then!!

  • gosh nice cute guinea pig lolz

  • okay, i have nothing against expert village/vets/this lady.

But she said "um", or "uh" 16 times throughout this whole video!

ARGHHH! It drives me crazy - "like" and "um".

  • i know right she irratating

  • I must be a pervert as the only thing I noticed was her cleavage. >.>

  • THANKYOU SO MUCH I LOVE U *subscibes*

  • that cages is way way way way way too small.

  • thaks alot for the video it is very helpful for me and my guinea pig
