no, I mean that there is no internal sense of rhythm to the piece. it's all over the place. very disjointed. beautiful instrument and nice playing. don't give up!

I would say, it is a typical prae-classical, Sturm und Drang way of composing. It surely doesn't have a kind of baroque swing.

Ja ik vind het prachtig. Eindelijk eens wat ``nieuwe`` literatuur.

Maar even een vraagje door wie is het door u bespeelde clavecimbel gebouwd? het klinkt uitzonderlijk goed en vol voor zo`n bescheiden afmeting!

Het is een Kalsbeek (2.22m) naar Blanchet. Door de lenswerking lijkt het kleiner.

Ow dan heb ik nog een vraag als het een ``Blanchet`` is..Leent het instrument zich goed voor polyfone muziek? bijv Bach? Ik heb wel eens gelezen dat het op vroeg achtiendeeeuwse franse klavecimbels wat minder is?

dit type is niet vroeg, maar eerder laat 17e eeuws, bovendien kun je polyfonie zelfs op een piano spelen (of niet soms?). De articulatie van een Vlaams of Italiaans instrument is wel wat duidelijker, maar dat zou je een kwestie van smaak kunnen noemen.

Ik zal mijn ouwe archiefnotities over organist Lustig eens tevoorschijn halen voor een stukje op mijn weblog. Daar past deze riedel mooi bij. Overigens lijkt me de uitvoering van dit stukje iets te snel.

dat lijkt me erg interessant, maar op grond waarvan u het gekozen tempo te snel vind, is me een raadsel. promptement betekent onder andere overhaast!
