Mr. Brainwash is an actor who is taking part in a genius plan created with Banksy. I'm surprised no one has caught on to this, they made it blatantly obvious in the movie. Of course he is a rip off street artist, that is the exact character he is playing and you all are buying it. Banksy IS Mr. Brainwash. Think about it. Really.

He is to street art, what spinal tap is to metal. His work is like a parody of street art. A big puffed up, self-hyped liberace of the art world. His work doesn't really offer any social commentary and I thought most of it was pretty weak. Blatant references to Warhol and Banksy doesn't make him original. The most interesting thing about him was his ability to create hype that would turn into a kind of mass hysteria, where people would think he was great. What a wank the art world is.

And yes, some if not most of MBW's art is done by other Artist and or directed by MBW. They are making a living as well. without MBW, theyd probably make pennies off their art because no one knows who they are.
