@khalida1988 When Goons beat BoB SauS had nothing left to prove. hence goons going away. Saus should leave EvE whilst he still can with a modicum of victory and respect. Evolution will continue to exploit cause they can't win with out cheating or exploiting. Goons when from 1000 frigate noobs as meat shields and tacklers to an leet fighting force. Goons became that which they hated most...just like BoB and Evolution

BlinkingBulbStudios, jita has around 700-900 ppl in that system alone on a normal day :P....and it isnt rare to see around 100 of thos sitting out at gates or stations.....and most mission hubs will have 100-200 ppl in......and big allaince battle will have 100's of ppl fighting in the same area :)

@JuniorDExchangecore Yes, 40000 on the same server, but it would be technically impossible to have more that a few hundred players in the same solar system, let alone in the same immediate vicinity. Still, this is an impressive figure, because the whole population interacts with each other in one way or another, be it by conquering territories or by manufacturing and selling on the market.

@BlinkingBulbStudios Its possible to have 1000 or more in system. The GM's look for systems that are laggy due to the current number of pilots in system...they can assign priority bandwidth to that system till the numbers come down. Some GMs used to help BoB members out in Blob fights by assigning priority band width to BoB players whilst the enemy had to fight with regular bandwidth. enemys would see 1 to 5 frames per sec. while bob players had no lag issues at all. seen it many a time.

@JuniorDExchangecore 40k on the server is nothing. That one game server can handle 200k if they wanted or needed it. This game is a PvP game made by PvP devs! PvE is secondary. When I played back in the day 10k was the record for players on server at one time. I was part of the first PvP alliance..The Curse Alliance. we could field 100 ships at one time. a small but leet group..we fought a five front war and we won. No one could touch The Curse Alliance ended up falling apart due to infighting.

@CityHunter84 believe it or not EvE does have a more mature player base than WoW. The avg 13 to 14 year olds don't get EvE and it takes a lot of time to train skills and earn ISK. A noob player should be safe in 1.0 sec space. As the security rating drops the gank factor rises. Reading the ingame map helps identify gate campers and fucktards killing noobs in local by pods ganked in last 24 hours and ships lost in 24 hours vs the last 30 min. You should have tried to get into an alliance for help

@shaunstrachan Dude you have no idea what your saying here. The lead Corporation for the Band of Brothers Alliance is Evolution. Shrike/Sir Molle CEO of Evolution has devs in his corporation and other devs in the BoB Alliance corporations like Black Nova when they were a part of BoB. They had access to the private dev server in CCP. They used every exploit in game, they were always the first to use said exploit/cheat till ccp said no more.They lost their dev friends and access to the dev server.

Snig and BOS together is an alliance forged from the days of Curse Alliance and non stop war. @felixlighta Nope, I was not flying in Goons. I flew in Black Omega Security. Goons when they first came into game belonged to BOS. They were our meat shields for the longest time. The CEO and founder of Goones was Suas/ThorTheGreat/Talon he was in BOS when I was CEO of BOS. Then he won the power struggle he launched against me for control of BOS. The original ThorTheGreat came back to the game and took the corp from me and gave it to Saus. So I have more reason to hate him than most players do.

@felixlighta Goons and those alliances and corp that took on BoB shut them down. BoB lost sector after sector. they couldn't leave their safe spots and hides. They lost fight after fight. and then they lost their dev help and GM help as well. When they could no longer find out the exploits from the Dev's server in house at CCP they had to rely on their gaming abilitys and with out their exploits/cheats they found that they were not as uber as they thought. Shrike/Molle primary target!!
