Congratulations and thank you. I did visit Kanyakumari when I was a college student with my parents, My mother was so scred that she did not allow me to go upto Vivekananda rock by this ferry service. Off course the weayjer was also not good and the ferry service was not running on a reguler basis.

Ferry Services are running by Government's "Poompuhar Board" regularly.
Only when there is alert by Government's Weather Department @ high wave or State Election, on that day(s) only it's not running.
