I have Sprint and I am eligible for an upgrade in March 2012 and I was thinking about getting the iPhone 4S but it lacks a lot of features that Android has...Adobe Flash Player is definitely a must have feature for one. I have now made up my mind and will be getting the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch!

I never understood all the iphone vs android issues, but after comparing my iphone 4s to my Epic touch I have to agree this phone is better than the iphone. I have to admit I have not had them both for long, but from what I see so far I really like the Epic better. Kind of bummed I paid $400 for the iphone and only $200 for the epic, but I guess it is better than paying $400 for both.

@tnerual888 multitasking on android smartphones is superb. iOS is horrible with multitasking. If you are going to this phone from a iphone, you will NOT regret it.

@DONNYBOYY28 The larger battery has a bigger effect than the Super AMOLED display. Samsung has been using Super AMOLED displays for some time, but I can't say that that is the reason why battery life might be better. Some phones with AMOLED screens have terrible battery life.

I like this reviewer. Still, I can't wait to buy the next Hyperbole Generic. There's nothing like spending $2000 over a couple years on a phone with the same OS as 50 other phones. Of course, my phone will be .02 GHz faster and the screen will be 10 megapixels sharper--so it won't be obsolete for at least 3-4 months.

@masmazda08 Having reviewed the EVO 3D, the PHOTON 4G, and now the Epic 4G Touch, the Epic 4G Touch is quite a bit ahead of the others when it comes to performance. Not to say the others are bad in their own rights, but the smoothness and fluidity of the Samsung is just not matched by HTC or Motorola's offerings.

@blazervision There is 2GB for app storage on the phone. Gameloft games should be downloading the bulk of their data to the SD card partition, which offers about 11.5GB of storage to the user.

@blazervision nope. gameloft game data will be stored on the 11 gb storage partition... my desire HD has 1 gb for apps was able to install 100 games+apps and i still haven't move the games to sd... so the 2GB storage on the SGS2 should be more than enough...

@lopezpm It's not Samsung's fault. Most American users don't realize this but it's more of the carriers fault when it comes to updates. In the UK , we get updates on a very timely basis. Samsung already has realized about 4 updates fixing any small bugs the phone had .

I really wish manufacturers would clamp down on US carriers for putting garbage on phones, and simply deny them the model and then the carrier that chooses to not put any carriers apps would be the sole carrier to have the device (sound familiar ?)
