Faith in the American people?? Nick, start talking to some Americans. Most think Jesus will return to wield his magic powers any day now. Most Americans are idiots. Most of them don't read. There is no "reason." Frankly, the blue states (who pay all the taxes) need to separate and leave the red states unto themselves where they can have all the freedom they want to shoot each other, complain about the taxes they don't even pay, and sleep with their relatives.

If money doesn't buy results in politics, and large corporate expenditures are benign, as Gillespie asserts, why is so damn much spent on it? Just for kicks? Gillespie's support of sociopaths like Ayn Rand and David Horowitz reveal way too much about him. He's not even a Libertarian; he's a Cato Institute type Capitalist. Type "Noam Chomsky - Libertarian Socialism Contradicting terms" into YouTube and you'll start to see why.

I've never seen anyone who can hold there own against Gillespie, this guy comes pretty close. The real problem is how much people allow political ads to influence them.That dude from Harvard was slick as hell, but hes still full of shit.
