Tip to creator: How to make a better fake? Try moving the box and cables in between "takes". If you're trying to suggest you changed the motherboards between each test, there's no way the cables and the computer would remain in the EXACT same position each time. If this was real of course you would open the box and show us the action or at least a pile of burned out boards at the end. It's a smoke machine and a strobe in the box, but you could have "hidden" it better...
@2000jago Good advices, but there was a problem. Pc case didn't had any screws at all, so every attempt to move box or cables finished in completely chaos. There was another thing that prevented me from moving pc case - an old flash lamp from analog camera. Wiring was constructed using duck-tape which slipped away. I know, movie was crappy, but now I'm creating something bigger and better ;)
