I used to have a dog, maybe someday I will again.

A long time ago, this gal and I were dating and we picked out a sheltie/retriever mix, or should I say he picked out us. His name was "shelby" and he was a joy to have around. Eventually, my girlfriend's mom got over the passing of her dog, (she was saying she didn't want another, just like all g'mas do!) and it wasn't long before my girlfriend's mom shanghaied Shelby off to the cottage where he lived a nice life.
