I never got a ticket in the 4 years I owned this one. This thing works great. I believe the biggest problem with most people that don't think it works is either A) they didn't activate the scrambler after receiving it from the factory or B) they continue to drive like a complete f**king idiot by not slowing down after the detector goes off. I honestly can't say that I believe this detector jams the radar indefinitely, but I do believe it jams it for 10 to 12 seconds allowing you to slow down.

may or may not work but as a detector it done a great job. It's nothing compared to my v1.

Most of you dont own vehicles let alone a vehicle that exceeds the speed limit. There is nothing wrong with RMR, it's a quality product and they offer a 1 year ticket rebate program. Perhaps your time would be better spent watching porn, or looking for a job.

hey roy good video ive allways known that the rocky mountain radar has never jammed any radar / laser they sold them here in australia years back. i dont even no if there a good detecter . [australia used low powerd multinova 6f ] they have now phased the old radar unit out and now are using the poliscan vitronic . i gave my radar detecter [xr70] to my old man as i have the G9 that seems to be doing me well at the moment

i dont see why you have problems finding a good radar detector/jammer. $50,000 for info on a working one, maybe if you have that kind of money you can afford a good one. mine was $2000 and it works fine, jams lasers and detects radar from 2 miles away. and get a new camera, stop using your pay as you go phones

there is an option, actually a little SLIT on the lights side of the detector. you can stick a straight pin in it and slide it up or down, and one way turns the scrambler on, thee other off. i have 2x-RMR c430's, one in each of my cars. i have had them in there for as long as i can remember, and they DO WORK! this is just a ploy to keep you from buying them. if you research these videos, you will see ONLY Mr. roy here, has tested them.my friend is a cop, and i have also tested the mobile radar

@deanoobaby ---where do you think i get my knowledge of this from?? a cookbook? they WILL NOT and DO NOT activate the scrambler feature in it from the factory, because that makes it ILLEGAL! but YOU can take a straight pin and switch it on by yourself. if the factory did this, they would NOT be able to sell them, because the factory would be 110% responsible. if YOU do it, well, they cant control what YOU do. you think all these people who have bought them know this,NO, but ASKING is different.

@deanoobaby ---then you come on down and hold the camera while i drive, which car you wanna take? it throws random #'s back until the 200ft mark, then, the vehicle is going too fast for the detector to bounce the incorrect #'s back in a timely fashion. go somewhere and look at the product, it has instructions and explanations.

@deanoobaby -i am talking about the rmr c430, the square boxy looking 1. i have shot it with a radar gun we use for baseball throws, and it worked just fine. i dont understand where you guys think it doesnt. if it does not work, ANY OF THEM, then explain to me why the FCC banned the last model and forced them to remove it from the shelves?
