Just like Muira trumped Ferrari and then the Countach destroyed the Testarossa,

and now the Aventador beats the 599GTO.

Dino, 288GTO and F355 were great Ferraris though, looks, sound and performance -

Looks are a matter of opinion, and you'll find the majority think the Diablo is a better looking car than an F40 all day long. Sounds like ass? Behave yourself. Diablo's normally aspirated V12 is widely acknowledged as one of the greatest sounding engines EVER made.

I met a guy (early microsofter) soon after he bought his new F40 in the late '80s when he was showing it at a small local car meet. I saw him again after he got his new F50, and again when his Enzo was new. When I asked about the progression of the cars he said that the F40 was still the most thrilling to drive of the three (not sure how it compares to his 1964 250 LM or the dozen other vintage Ferraris he owns).

@jaex26 OK, undertood. But you should know something about supercars: every car is cool the era it runs. We can say the F40 is a legendary car by Ferrari. Now the last high performance supercar by Ferrari is the Enzo, which has got 650hp, 170hp more than F40. Obviously everyone's got his tastes.

Cars become more cool in aesthetics and performance while years go on. If the Enzo wasn't on your tastes, you might guess the F70 will be better.
