  • Thanks for producing this. Nice job!

I sold my business and escaped from Calif before the collapse of real estate & the fiscal meltdown, but I would come back someday---If the border is sealed, if the state restores sanity to environmental regulations, if Sacramento would stop the tax & spend mania, and if conservatives took over the state government. Sadly, much more suffering & desperation will occur before that happens. If California were a person, it could not buy life insurance!

  • though water problem sucks I live there and there is no dust and there wont be because there Isn't and over tilling

  • Is there a balance? Can we protect fish and game as well as our economic way of life for our children's future? I think Americans are smart enough to do both, unless we spin our wheels with "name calling" and anger. There are bright people who want the best for our country on both sides of this issue. If they got together like grown-ups we would have lots of water and lots of fish. What happened to the Salmon of the San Joaquin? Work together and God will smile. Go USA!

  • And the government wonders why there approval rate is below SEWER level.

  • Hello Again; back from the abyss. Hope your doing good. I was SKeene1956 and we subbed each other. You are still intelligent and sharp as a whip and I think the sarcasm is just right to give someone a jolt of reality as it will want to create that image in their mind's 5 * up and more.

  • @NotLuckyInLife: Thank you!

  • Where is the birth certificute,, That will let us get rid of at least one Fabium liberal. Whats wrong with the courts stalling on this issue.

  • Might I add, the environmentalists are just tools for large agri-corporate producers. These Wall Street moguls, who would much rather purchase produce from Mexico at reduced prices, are now obtaining a larger bottom line profit.

  • Awe boo freaking hoo the poor wittle fishy. News flash even Jesus ate fish so i think all the tears over this fish is silly. Enough turn the water back on... DUH.

  • Extreme environmentalism & extreme animal rights activism = Marxism/Communism.

Couldn't have said it better myself, Tony.

This is all part of Agenda 21; the systematic removal of Humans from rural/wilderness lands to return it to it's natural state, among other things.

    Say No to Neo-Communism.

  • Excellent video and notes + links; thank you very much for posting.

  • This was the most retarded 4 minutes I've ever spent on youtube...

...I only hope I can recover from all this DISINFORMATION.

  • @treid100182 hes telling the truth..how is it disinformation??

  • Wow, everybody seems to be incredibly stupid , propagandabuster guy included.

  • @BitchezInThaHoodz no, hes telling the truth. they did that.

  • here are some facts on the delta smelt

One female can lay from 1,400 to 1,800 eggs.

(why doesn't PETA or whoever that are concerned about this fish go net a bunch of them ? )

Most delta smelt live one year and die after their first spawning

(yeah the water is turned off ...for a bunch of fish that will die after 1 year )

Sounds like their more than meets the eye to this case. I think it goes beyond fish . I think their is another hidden reason here why they are stopping the water pumps

  • bingo!!!, they are punishing the people in the San Juaquin VAlley for their political views. What would stalin do? What would MAO do? They would have done the same thing, they in fact did cut off supplies to their own people who were "bad". Don't read too much into this, the fish isn't important, if it were a poor neighborhood without water the democrats would kill off the bald eagle to get the water to them. This is about punishing this conservative area for being conservative.

  • Thanks for posting.

F communism to hell, same to Obama the antichrist.

  • San j#$@! valley was once a swamp they dammed the water making the delta and a few other water work canals, and have been piping central valleys water down to LA, because LA cannot sustain itself. the time is now, CUT OFF LA, and your water problems will be over!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Texas has it much worse, Ca is still King in Agriculture nuff said.

  • markbotv3 has got it right, turn on the water FFFF the fish....

  • California has not been producing due to lack of rain in the valley. This is normal it happens every 10 years.

  • its all irigation dip shit rain is not an issue

  • Here is the thing it wasn't about the fish it was about organic food Check out the bill just passed through Congress HR2749 put the pieces of the puzzle together.

  • I'm from CA, & this makes me sick. I'm living up north right now. Leftism at it's best. Last one out, take the flag...will ya?

  • The USA is its own worst enemy. All rights are gone and judges are punks who run a nation that should be renamed The People's Court. Everyone sues everyone and going to court is as common as going to the bathroom. When all judges and lawyers and worthless federal agencies are living in tent and dying of thirst, this economic crisis will be considered a blessing!

  • If that little fish is endangered then we need to start eating it. I've never heard of a shortage of cows or chickens.

  • lol psssh ya just put em in a tank...problem solved

  • This is insane - i mean you "PropagandaBuster". Did you ever hear about about substainability. You raped the nature of California to grow Orange in a place where no farming was ever possible.

The resources are drying out. Colorado river is down to 50%. Ground water level is sinking rapidly. Everything is shouting for an emergency break

If you continue all of the farming will be over in a few years anyway. The parasite called CA mental handicaped citizen is really an amazing brainless creature

  • according to the anthropogenic global warming alarmists the planet is getting warmer(been cooling for 11 years) and warmer temps mean more evaporation. more evaporation means more rain. more rain means more land under cultivation. more cultivation means more food. more food means more people or cheaper food. cheaper food. means a better econmy. a better economy means more technology.more technology is either the solution or the problem...depends on if your liberal or conservative.

  • Fish more important than food for people-genius!

  • LOL, shithead, if the Republicans didn't fuck up so bad, then we wouldn't be in this situation.

  • Huh? Wait the judge is a democrat and can legislate from the bench? So as result our food prices will at least double this fall and 85,000 farmers plus all the towns in the valley will turn into ghost towns? I know this administration wants to mimic FDR and last dust bowl, we are well on our way! I blame both Republicans and Democrats. This 2 party system destroyed this country. The Clean Water Act will put the final nail in the coffin. Problem-Reaction-Solution. Start saving food now.

  • Ok, I get it...you're a die-hard right-wing conservative and that's fine. What I don't get, is why you think you're doing everyone a service. I don't see you busting George Bush's balls for all the stupid shit he did, but when a democrat fucks up, the apocalypse is coming. Once again, though I don't agree with some of your views, I have no problem with you expressing them. However, you might want to change your name because all of your videos are pure, unadulterated Republican propaganda.

  • Anyone know the religious back ground of the judge, lawyers and environmentalist group? I'll bet they were not christian! And, I will bet the represent about 1% (population) of the former United States!

  • Propo you erasing comments now?

  • Only if they are not related to the topic of this video as I stated and advised in the description.

  • Propo then why the tic tic tic...it was from what you erased.

  • First you wrote you sent me the link, now you say I erased it. Which one is it?

  • They need to break us down, tax us flat, dry us out, slow us down and burn us down. The brakes are on and the guy at the top is using both feet.

  • USAG that's a interesting comment. Solar tower can generated as much electricity as small nuclear reactor. Ted Kennedy didn't like the view? First I ever heard of it,

  • Where does a solar tower generate more energy. I have heard of teamed solar towers generating 300Mws but not one single tower.

The worlds largest solar tower the PS20 solar power tower can produce 20Mega Watts.

The Hyperion reactor is about the size of a storage shed produces 25Mega Watts. Ands these reactors are being designed to be sold to other countries for energy.

Most large scale reactors produce around 1200MW to 1500MW (Uninterruptible, reliable and not prone to environmental changes.

  • Nuclear is not completely uninterruptible/reliable - no more so than any typical power plant. I have no idea what you mean by "not prone to environmental changes."

"Unreliability" of renewables is a myth. I've never hear of a single solar tower generating as much power as a nuke plant, no - but you can build an equivalent amount of solar power (per MW) for less money than a nuke plant - that I do know.

  • We are headed for a Civil War II in this country... The battle lines are being drawn...

  • I hope to God freedom can make it past our current marxist leadership.

  • They are all anti-Christs!

  • I really like USAgymnast.

He/She reminds me of a pitbull.

I think he/she just about chewed your leg off

    Pandonodrim. XDDDDD

  • And like pitbulls, not a lot of thought goes into their attacks.

  • You should know.

  • The Grace Commission in 1984 found that not one penny the IRS steals from you and me goes to run government, what isn't wasted in IRS overhead just goes to pay INTEREST to the private "Federal" Reserve. If we did not file (and I think we should stop) they would just keep inflating the money supply which is where they get their money anyways, but MAYBE they would default on the national debt sooner which would mean we could get this show on the road at least.

  • ....

wow... i just, can't fathom your stupidity. Now you think that cooking meat will remove heavy metal toxins from it? I'm so through even making fun of you... it's not fun anymore, it's just depressing.

  • Um, what?

  • Republicans are gay. (Joe402 42)

    Sources:

402, Joe. Republicans: The Party of Cognitive Dissonance. Fakeamericatown: University of LIBERALS, 2009.

  • Joe402:

Like Barney Fag... er...Barney Frank. You know, the one that talks like Daffy Duck.

  • hahaha Barney Fag that's a good one almost as clever as BU$H/bushitler and democRATs

  • lonedove...don't you think that Barney Frank crap is quite a bit lame? You make fun of his voice? It sure shows desperation on your part when you can't make post grade school level comments.

You lose an election, realize you screwed the country up so bad you'll not be back in power for years so you wish for a civil war. You aren't even bright enough to realize the other 77% of Americans love our country dearly and have no problem putting you back in your place dead or alive. We aren't scared.

  • wittumy:

The only thing lame here is you trying to be an elitist... What place do I belong in? Only left/right wing fucks like you believe people belong in a place! You need to get with the republic... As far as my love for this country I fought and bled for this country so you can take you elitist BS 77% stat and shove it! People love this country in different ways... not the way not always the way you want.

Don't hide behind "people" wanna-be elitst.

  • LONESOME.....elitists make fun of others and call them names...as you did. I have no place as I've said on my homepage...I have some liberal and conservative views. I understand people think in different ways and I would think you'd understand someone like Barney Frank does to if you really mean what you say.

  • wittumy:

Didn't you say "can't make post grade school level comments"? That's a elitist in my book!

"Putting you back in your place dead or alive" is another elitist statement in my book... also I could take it as a threat.

You have yet to explain what "my place" is.

  • lonedove....I'd hardly call my grade school comment elitist pal....now if I said grad school maybe.

  • wittumy:

    You just did!!!

Another thing you got to learn is I'm not your pal.

  • lonesome....I'm not a elitist but it sure hasn't stopped you from continuing to call me one so I will continue on too pal. I just did what pal?

  • First: If you can't see what you did then you are a stupid wanna-be elitist.

Second: Again... I'm not your pal.

  • lonedove....I've never done anything to you. I can't help that you feel everyone is talking down to you.....it's not being elitist...it's just being more reasonable and having more truth behind our comments than you choose to use pal.

  • wittumy:

Go play psychology 101 on someone else... and for the LAST time I'm not your pal! I know you want to be my friend but it is not going to happen... go get your attention somewhere else.

  • lonedove....I don't play psycological games. If you feel inadequate it's not my problem. Yeah right I want to be your friend pal.

  • wittumy:

    Yea, yea ...whatever.

  • The crazed animal rights and environmental fanatics are NOT your typical liberals. Yet again you associate the most extreme example to use as a pithy insult. You've been doing that a LOT of late... say about 4 months now.

The enviro-freaks wanted wind power, so Cali built a massive wind farm... but now, the same enviro-freaks don't want us to build the wiring to get the power from the farm to the electric processing plants. Massive wind farms are sitting at 9% capacity for their lawsuit.

  • Incredible. Send me the link please.

  • Afraid links don't work here. I'm sure you can google info on the farms, most are located just outside 29 Palms, near the San Gorgonio pass. Massive, brilliant structures, quite a sight to drive through.

  • I'd just like to stress, comparing *all* liberal minded people to these eco and animal nuts is like comparing *all* conservatives to religious extremists. Do all conservatives run around shooting abortion doctors? Many might condone it, but most aren't out there shooting people... just as most liberals are not out there brandishing expensive furs with red X's.

  • Right and left is an attempt to reduce something that is multidimensional (political view) to only one dimension. I am in favour of social freedoms (liberal) and economic freedoms (conservative).

  • A good stance. Any extreme is harsh on some aspect of society. I'm conservative on some things, liberal on others... everyone is, to a point. Becoming polarized and depending on those individual poles to define every problem leads to the extremes we have now, which fight for every inch... while most people, who are a little quieter and neutral, just shake their heads in frustration at the nonsense and lack of common sense being applied.

  • How does our POS court system allow these insane Aholes to bring progress to a grinding halt? The problem here is not that all liberals are a problem. The problem is that the laws have been liberalized to the point that we cannot accomplish anything in this country.

  • Laws being "liberalized" only means they are more specific for circumstances. This in itself is not a problem, but a benefit to society. Precident is set already in many cases, and provide guidance for judges. That a few idiots learned how to use the system to their advantage is a drawback, but it doens't mean the system is in the crock.

Abuse of the court system is used by all extremes, from Phelps church to maintain their protests at funerals, to eco-freaks trying to save every critter.

  • "I'm not the one who wants to force others to live like I do."

Very good point, a fact the offending marxist attempted to bury by spinning up an arguement about racism and sexism.

Nothing can hide their true colors forever. They pretend to champion freedom and equality while really wanting to rule over others with an iron fist. 100 million bought their lies and found only mass graves and forced labor camps.

Freedom will be had when marxists no longer exist.

  • The San Joaquin Valley produces grapes, rasins, wine, cotton, nuts (especially almonds, pistachios), citrus, and vegetables (especially asparagus). None of these things are eaten by cattle. So the valley produces human food, not cattle feed.

There are dairy and meat cattle in the valley, but these crops are not grown for them.

The valley also has the worst poverty in the USA.

  • USAGynast, Pandonodrim, why don't you treat each other more respectfully? You've each made some points. But it's hard to read through all the insults.

It takes 16 kgs of plant protein to make 1 kg of beef protein. So if you are growing crops to feed cows, rather than eating the crops directly, that wastes resources.

However, there are also cows that graze on grasslands that are not good crop lands. People cannot eat these grasses at all, so it is useful to eat these cows.

    So you're both right

  • I gave up a long time ago taking USAGym seriously. I tried to be respectful at first but all he does is lie and insult people, so, when I respond to him anymore, I don't bother to be civil.

Very few cows graze on grasses anymore. Unless you are eating organic grass-fed (specifically labeled so) beef then you are eating factory farm meat. If it's fast food that's even worse, those cows are fed soy that's grown on deforested rain forest land overseas.

    So no, he's not right.

  • Then don't reply to him duh.

The only reason these boards get clogged with your personal flame wars is because both people who claim to be "mature" and "civil" are just too immature and suborn to just shut up and take an insult.

  • Liberals will become the biggest mass murderers in history if they aren't stopped.

  • And the reason it's more sustainable is because it doesn't use fertilizers and pesticides. And it doesn't use that much more water (and hardly any more soil). If I'm wrong prove it. Give me sources and cite them.

It also stimulates genetic diversity, which monocultures, obviously, do not.

You're really getting out of your league now, know when to throw in the towel.

  • You keep saying it takes more food to go vegetarian. This is insane. That is not something up for discussion. It's a well known fact. Male cows raised for beef don't produce milk you ass. And even with that consideration, you're still wrong. Lie to yourself all you want, it doesn't change truth.

Of course you have to wash fruits and vegetables you moron. But you can't wash the toxins out of meat. How stupid are you?

I know "internets" is improper, I was being ironical. Ugg...

  • No, that's not true, and not what I've said at all. It must be fun inside your head where you just make up conversations and ultimatums for yourself.

I never said the words "I want to kill you." I said, quite distinctly "I'd rather kill you." There is a HUGE difference. Idiot.

As much as being a sexist is being a racist, yes.

Stop being obsessed with me, it's unhealthy. And weird.

  • I don't belong to PETA (not eco-nazis) and SSCS is not an eco-nazi organization.

What spin are you talking about? And sure there's something wrong with not caring about other species. It makes you a speciesist and I have no more respect for you than I would a racist or a sexist.

I think I "get your drift" - you've repeated that stupid "stone age" comment in almost every one of your posts. As I said, it (more that everything else you say) make you look like a fool.

I'm done for now, so long.

  • "speciesist and I have no more respect for you than I would a racist or a sexist."

Marxists are obnoxious with this tired old strategy. Everyone who disagrees or speaks an anti revolutionary opinion gets labeled as a bigot. The intended goal is to make ones opponenet too disgusting to be heard, an outraged audience is then expected to side with the heroic marxist who was only trying to fight cruel nazi party bigotry.

    Adopt a new strategy!

  • I have NEVER said that we should live without:

"electricity or indoor plumbing or food or clothing or clean water or good housing"

Though I will argue about "anything else that I have in my life." I doubt you are entitled to everything you have. Very few people in America are.

Hopefully some day you will wake up and see the real world. The first step might be to stop accusing people of wanting to make you "live in the stone age." It makes you look like a fool, and you don't need the help.

  • But it's more sustainable, idiot. Heheh.

Yes, moron, a human probably eats more food than a cow, BUT 1 COW CAN'T FEED 1 HUMAN FOR HIS ENTIRE LIFESPAN. This really isn't hard to grasp, come on, even you should be able to do this... *sigh*

There are not "plenty" of toxic materials (and bacteria? I wasn't talking about bacteria) in plants, there's SOME. Far more in meat. Also not a hard concept to grasp - look up "bio-accumulation" if you know how to use the internets.

  • Yes, that statement meant I'd rather kill you than myself (which is what you had suggested). I'd be surprised if you would rather kill yourself than me for example. That doesn't mean I think you are "okay with killing people."

You really do need everything spelled out... Christ.

You don't think every species has a right to exist? Right - speciesist.

I don't have any Eco-Nazi friends. As for "punishing myself" I suppose I probably do in your eyes.

  • no I mean what does it mean. Answer in a 500 character essay, cite sources in MLA style.

  • Retard! Touche!

    Try this one: Douchebag!

See? I can do it too!

  • And "organic methods" are not "outdated" foolish child.

Let me try to explain again about the meat vs plant thing again... but this is the last time!

One cow, in it's life time, will eat enough food to sustain a human for many years. So ALL that food, enough to feed a human for years, ends up in a handful of meals for a few people eating hamburgers. That's also why meat is so toxic - toxins bio-accumulate in animals as you progress up the food chain.

Just give up, you're out of your league.

  • Yes, because "not promoting" = killing self.

    Another brilliant straw man.

When have I ever said that people who "don't live like I want them to" to be "evil?" I don't think I've ever said that... even in jest.

It's not my fault your pathetic and undeveloped mind can't understand the difference between "living in the stone age" as you put it, and "using resources responsibly and sustainably."

Um, what? God your an idiot... humans would end up consuming LESS food on a vegetarian diet.

  • Ha-Ha!

I'm sorry, did you have a point?

  • what's a neo-marxist

  • Um, no. That's not it.

As per your "there's no evidence of 5%" it's simple math dumbass. And those aren't my figures, I actually do research and discover information before I start typing stuff out. You should try it sometime.

  • I never said I was okay with killing people, Mr. I-Love-Straw-Men.

I don't think you know what "Marxism" is do you? Perhaps you could learn to read and pick up a book or two little fella...

I will not excuse you, we are all guilty.

The only value a fish has is whether or not you can eat it? I'd think you didn't have a brain if you could type without one...

Funny, because that "some water" wouldn't save the farmers... got caught in your own argument there...

  • I'm not an absolutist fanatic like you are. I don't define things in black and white. We can use resources, but we must do so responsibly and sustainably you child.

Eating vegetarian means you no longer have to raise as much livestock. Livestock is many times more energy and food intensive than a plant based diet (you need to feed the cows). If that land were utilized to grow crops for humans instead you would get a lot more food. Why do I have to spell everything out for you? Child-idiot.

  • Man, you're dense. I'm eco-fascist because I'm aware of the extreme imbalance of world resources and the blatant, horrific exploitation perpetuated on the majority of humans and other life forms on the planet?

You have a strange enough word there in "eco-fascist" and an even stranger and broader definition...

Some water (300,000 acre feet) was conserved for the fish. That's 5% of the total water, as I've already posted. The drought is why there's no water. Pay attention!

  • Again, the smelt is not why there's a shortage of water. How many times do I need to remind you?

And Obama is NOT an Eco-fascist, he's not even an environmentalist. His eco record is not very good so far, something I'm quite critical of him for. Especially since morons like you will consider him one anyway - he should just go ahead and pull out the stops.

  • Heh, amusing. You don't seem to know what a straw man is. I keep forgetting though, you're like 12, aren't you?

I never said I was against "technological advances" I'm all for them, if done responsibly. Going vegetarian will most certainly create more food you moron. Pay attention!

The farmers don't have water because of the drought, not because of the smelt - again, PAY ATTENTION.

No, I said I'd RATHER kill you... not the same thing. And to be a murder I'd actually have to kill you - idiot.

  • How do you have time to write responses with all those straw men you're constructing?

I don't want to live in the stone ages.

Humans ARE starving because of people like you. Everything I've stated will help. If you truly cared about feeding people you'd at least eat vegetarian.

Only fools discard a life form because they think it is small and insignificant. Saving the smelt has nothing to do with the farmers, aren't you listening?

I'd rather kill you? I'm sure you use more than I do...

  • I hate being forced to subsidize my own limitations.

  • I love humans (not all humans) and I hate corporations (not capitalism - balanced, responsible capitalism would be great!).

Apparently a lot of people. People a hell of a lot smarter than you.

  • Another brilliant argument from our resident professor, USAGymnast!

Please, keep them coming. They are so uniquely revealing and insightful.

  • Yes, because rapists, murders, and robbers should all be allowed to do whatever they want.

    Brilliant!

Here's me telling one person what to do!

    =censored=

  • ....

As usual, USAGymnast, I don't think you comprehended what was being said.

    Not surprising...

  • The earth has almost 7 billion people on it. I think the last thing "people and babies" need is promotion. They seem to be doing just fine on their own.

"feed the world" - what? You mean we feed ourselves? That's not "the world." Most of the human race is hungry you pompous... nevermind.

You're a religious nut. What a surprise. So I was right with the "theistic." I figured I would be.

O, and it's not my fault if you think my words are big or if you can't understand them. Look them up.

  • I'm sick of theistic, anthropogenic, speciesist, fascists who are obsessed with delusions of their self-importance.

  • Should I listen to a neocon talk about environmental issues? Tough decision.

  • And Buster, if you are really serious about the food problems in this nation then you will make an effort to buy locally grown, organic Texas food. Better yet, you could grow some of your own! You could stop making these stupid videos and do something constructive with your time, think of it!

Also, go vegetarian. The vast majority of crop land is grown to feed livestock. Not eating meat will do more than anything else to reduce the amount of crops we need to grow. It's also healthier!

  • "Also, go vegetarian."

I dunno as a flaming marxist-fascist (how is this even possible?) liberal I enjoy meat. Organic food owns though.

  • Don't get me wrong, I love meat too. I've just made the decision, knowing what I know, that I can't justifiably eat meat (best meal I ever had was fish, and I LOVE pulled-pork). At least most of the time. I'm not an absolutists, if people even just scale back on the meat they eat (and/or eat organic, local) that's all I ask. Best part is, it's healthier.

  • This nonsensical attack on an ENDANGERED fish is just like the Japanese blaming dolphins for declining fish stocks, or the Newfie fishermen blaming harp seals for the same. More propaganda scapegoating from gentlemen like you Buster. You're in good company.

I long for the day when even ignorant numskulls can actually take responsibility for their actions and stop blaming an endangered animal who's plight is also our responsibility. I am sick of irresponsibility and no accountability.

  • I find I must combat your hateful fear mongering once again. I will ignore your "liberal Marxist conspiracy" rantings for the lunacy they are and focus on the truth:

Water consumed for the delta smelt = 300,000 acre-feet. This is "only 5 percent of the 6 million acre-feet that was pumped out of the delta in recent years." The real reason for the water shortage is a string of 3 drought years in a row. That, combined with HUMAN influence on the ecological systems are why there's no water.

  • Not that "consumed" should be "conserved" in the first sentence of the second paragraph.

  • Without global food trade Americans would be dumping surplus crops out in open seas. And American Farmers would suffer we can only eat so much. Average Americans would pay more for our own food also but at least we are not trying to save our own starving farmers.

  • People in America just don't understand the full scope of the Food Power USA possesses. USA can threaten to halt food export to countries like SKorea or Japan. And trust me they would be very frightened if that was to happen Americans don't even need nukes to negotiate with them. Starvation is just as threatening and NKorea was a great sample of what can happen.

  • If you goto Asian food markets and see all the imported food being sold you maybe thinking wow that's a lot of money why don't Asian people buy more hamburgers. But people don't even try to read the labels. A lot of those food packaged in Japanese or Korean are actually made in USA for export to Japan or Korea. And even if they were made in Japan or Korea they used Imported food from USA to make those packaged food. Without food imports from USA Japan or SKorea would be starving like NKoreans.

  • This is interesting. I never heard about the water output being halted due to a fish. The stories back from Feb were saying it was due to a drought/rainfall deficit. I guess one excuse is as good as another.

  • Note my post.

  • 5 stars! You have the truth. The virus of Marxism is killing the entire planet. Yes, the environmental movement was hijacked by neo-Marxist radicals ACCORDING TO THE CO-FOUNDER OF GREENPEACE Patrick Moore!

He says, ""See, I don't even like to call it the environmental movement anymore, because really it is a political activist movement, and they have become hugely influential at a global level."

  • What a brilliant idea, dokkiro. Let's waste more fuel shipping green fruits from New Zealand around the world. Thank you, but I prefer to eat locally grown food.

You seem very optimistic about hydroponics. Japan, South Korean, the EU, and the US can afford it, but what about Bangladesh?

  • I hope that Tony will make a video on Honduras.

Manuel Zelaya, backed by Hugo Chavez and Raul Castro, wanted to illegally amend the constitution so that he could be president for life. This is the same path that Fidel Castro followed and that Hugo Chavez is trying to follow.

What happened in Honduras is not a coup. The Supreme Court was protecting democracy. Honduras does not want to have a communist dictator for life.

Note the absence of protests AND the Western media and Obama bias.

  • technology has made it possible for many former starving countries to even export food now these days. From what I hear places like South Korea have food growing from any place there are spaces I mean they will build structures vertically to grow food. Huge Fish farms in the middle of oceans and such. But still they are not going to beat the American competitors. Huge fertile land is Americas biggest blessing.

  • i see why the evil liberal left marxists are doing all this stuff they need the usa to be in anarchy and then the they will grab control

  • Food import export trade is good for fresher fruits to be traded all seasons globally. For example New Zealand crops and south of the equator has different harvest time for same kind of fruits and vegetables. Reminds you its winter when its summer here. It might seem like we are importing a lot from different countries but I bet we are selling far more to them when its our harvest time.

  • 40,000 job loss seem too extreme for a little 4 inches Dudley fish. But environmentalists might argue that those places were not farms in the first place. Only in place like America where its the bread basket of the world its possible for something like this to happen. In Japan or South Korea or North Korea? No Way! They would probably try to domesticate them as aqua pets somehow but Nop they wouldn't give up food in trade.

  • That is one reason people are starving, but I think the main reason is the fact that food production has not been able to keep up with the birthrate. Zero population growth seems like a reasonable goal to me.

  • When are people gonna say enough is enough............

  • Regulations, regulations, after regulations, there are no new startup factories in the US anymore, only the big names, where did they all go??? China, Vietnam and other Asian nations, because they are just more business friendly. Low taxes, and little regulations. When was the last time you heard someone opened a factory in the US??? I hear that all the time when I was in China. No nation can be powerful without their industrial manufacturing capabilities. Thanks Democrats!

  • Tesla Motors opened a factory in California, but I get your point.

The factories are moving to China to escape regulation, which means they will be dirtier and more damaging to the global environment.

In Japan there are so many plastic bottles collecting on Japanese beaches, all with writing in Chinese.

Rice production is down 10% thanks to the filthy polluted sands that come from the Gobi desert by way of Beijing.

The clean industries that left Japan to cut costs are now dirty in China.

  • But as you know, the average American gets a refund with their return, so that would only increase the governments revenue.

  • Yes I am referring to Congress and the Prez.

  • The supporters of this Cap and Trade legislation are knowingly entering into the deliberate destruction of the US economy. With the US will go the world. Hunger will not come from nature but from a lack of food directly linked to this bill. Poverty will come not from rising seas but from shrinking paychecks and opportunities. Winds and Rain will not destroy industry, this legislation will.

  • I hate to tell you this, but 1B people already go hungry. Food production has not kept pace with need for most of the past 10 years.

  • Ted Turner warned about global warming, food shortages and cannibalism. The left's future is so appealing: warmer temperatures and a meal of liberal au jus...sounds wickedly delightful.

  • Wow, I did not know this. Growing up in Fresno and living there for 25 years and another 5 years in a small California farming community called LeGrand taking care of an elderly farm owner, I know the importance of agriculture to California. A large chunk of a whole industry worth one little tiny fish? I don't think so.

Though I now live close to Sacramento California I hope they reverse this terrible decision in August.

  • We are now having to import our food, great, the thug government really is trying to starve us out! As they continue to inflate the dollar, imports will continue to get more and more expensive. Eventually no other county will want our dollars anymore (China and Russia have already said enough is enough). Stock up on non perishable foods, water filters, and non-GMO "heirloom" seeds while you still can if you want your family to survive.

  • There have been more food contamination cases and food related deaths since we began to import food.

  • Given how many dollars are being printed, the dollar can only stay strong for so long without coming crashing back down again.

  • Amen to that Cloe, history has taught us that not one fiat currency has ever survived. The "US dollar" as we still call it has been completely fiat and backed by nothing since 1971. The banksters ponzi scheme is about to come to an end, this will be a traumatic time for most, but can turn out positive if WE DON'T ALLOW THEM TO INSTALL ANOTHER FIAT CURRENCY. Physical gold and silver are the only financial instruments that can be trusted, especially right now.

  • You are so right Tony liberalism is a mental disorder!

    Five Stars my Friend!!

  • The government wants to control the food supply. In a few years there won't be any individuals owning farm land.

  • Obamavilles here we come :D

  • Screw the judge. Does he have any guns? I would say that the 40,000 out of work workers should march right on up there and turn the pumps back on. Who's going to stop them? It would at lease make a statement.

I'm a big believer in the rule of law, but things are getting ridiculous. It's time we make our voices heard.

  • What's sad is that this isn't even a liberal or conservative issue, it's a common sense issue.

As you stated in your video over 40,000 people have lost their jobs, the unemployment rate in the San Joaquin valley is almost at 20%. If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times environmentalist with the help of liberals will bankrupt this country, There well on their way I heard that they just passed the Cap n Trade bill. Great now everyone's electric bill will double, thanks congress!

  • I knew the House passed the Cap n Trade bill. Has the senate already voted on it?

  • The Senate will vote on it in August.

  • Thanks Tony. I sure hope they vote against it. But I have my doubts.

  • The 40,000 jobs lost are in San Joaquin valley alone. But this problem exists elsewhere. The true figure for all of California is closer to 80,000. The unemployment rate in Fresno County is 40%.

California's water system was built in the 1930s for 18M people, but the state's population is approaching 40M. 35% of the waster is set aside for smelt, salmon run, and wetlands.

  • all of this over a fish?? I never thought a fish had a higher priority of thousands of poeples lives and way of life. Screw the fish and turn the pumps on!!

  • Leftists come to power promising to make things better and they do crap like this. Well this is change alright: that valley was once a bread basket and now its turning into a dust bowel.

  • "Congress Created Dustbowl"

I've seen those placards all up and down I-5.

  • Yep, as well as "Food grows were water flows".

  • Tony is pointing out a serious problem. Half a million acres of croplands are now in disuse. If those lands cannot be used, they need to be seeded with drought resistant grasses to prevent a dust bowl.

A dust bowl comes from a combination of ploughing the earth AND a lack of water. It is dangerous when soil is laid bare. Something must be planted. Even weeds are better than nothing.

  • It depends what part of the Valley you live in.

  • We are going to hell in a hand basket. Excuse my french, but this really pisses me off. Here we are in the middle of the great recession and we have government sponsored eco-terrorists creating even more unemployment and decreasing our country's, and the world's, food supply. How much more evil can you possibly get? How much more ignorance can we possibly bare? The people that stood for, and passed, this legislation are criminals IMO. WTF??? Really....WTF???

  • I basically agree. However, it is not quite as simple as Tony says, because the salmon are also involved. In other words, the use of water in California is hurting the salmon industry.

California has a growing population and a serious water shortage. I think people should be allowed to water the lawn with the water from their showers (grey water).

People in California need to plant more drought resistant landscaping.

  • We should start environmental groups and animal rights groups for people who support market economies, so we can help animals without helping Marxists.

Food independence is part of national security. Countries like Japan are very aware of that.

I hope they are not turning the central valley into a dust bowl. It used to be an inland lake, and has the deepest, best top soil in the world, up to 150 feet in Davis, California.

  • No kidding...

  • I live at ground zero of the California water crisis in Fresno County, the hardest hit county by this crisis.... in several rural communities such as Firebaugh and Mendota have eyepopping 41% unemployment rates.... cities like Fresno, Merced, Modesto and Stockton have 15% unemployment rates... partially due to the water crisis... all because of some un endangered smelt.

Thanks for raising awareness on this issue Tony.

  • hm I WONDER HOW MANY of those people are here legally?I know it's not the ones in the foodlines or they would HAVE UNEMPLOYMENT! The smelt are not the WHOLE ISSUE-THEY ARE JUST 1 of MANY species in our Sac/ Joaquin rvr delta, endangered or threatened. 2 bad so many of u r falling for this corporate big ag money BS, that has been pulling this campaign OF MISINFORMATION. THE LAWFIRM WHO REPRESENTED THE NATIVE AMERICANS, FISHERMEN, AND BIOLOGISTS WAS EARTHJUSTICE. U ALL SHOULD GO LEARN THE TRUTH!

  • um...hello mcfly...people dont eat fish. they eat everything else that is produced in that valley. everybodys food cost is gonna go up thanks to fuck heads like you. fuck nancy pelosi fuck health care fuck the gitmo interns fuck salmon fuck expensive green energy. what we need is cheap food and jobs get it through your stupid commie loving head. enjoy long lines and poor service comrade lol just remember you wanted it.

  • and its 80,000 jobs lost and counting

  • THANKS TONY

  • Thanks to you for alterting me to this story.
