  • I want a G3 with Gilmour, Lifeson & Rothery..

  • what is that chorus tone for the rhythm in the solo!!

  • unbelievable!.

  • the question is where r the tabs

  • fuckin incredible

  • Lovely, just lovely.

Looks like I'm now going to have to relearn this solo, in a better sounding way.

    Thanks for the vid.

(and yes the end note, it is hard to reproduce the immense sustain without the right equipment so you can just improvise)

  • Wow... just wow

I was going to show my buddy how to play this solo - then I saw this clip - and now I'll just send him the link... perfectly done and it's nice how you keep your hands in the "teacher" show me how position the whole time (Excellent)

  • this is grater then sex

  • @morbid64 you're probably a virgin...

  • Something is not right at the end, the original goes higher at the very end.

  • @MichaelBoryAlis Alex Lifeson pinches the note, he didn't

  • EXCELENT!

  • difficulty level...10!! you did...as good as alex does live!! and I've seen him plenty! great job

  • win

  • Amazing backing tracks!

  • what esp is that?

  • What a wet/crispy tone he has!

  • What mode is that or is he mixing a couple?

  • I'm hoping to figure out how Alex Lifeson ends this solo LIVE... brings up the delay repeats with a ext. pedal... then they (the repeats) continue until nearly the end of the song. While he resumes playing... Must have to use two amps...

  • @MrSonnyblu Alex uses multiple amps but if you want to do this you need a loop pedal that will loop and also fade out slowly.

  • @MrSonnyblu he originally used an Echoplex analog tape delay.....and triggers the infinite loop. I had one back in the day, and nailed the solo PERFECTLY. expensive...but still the best.

  • where are the squeals at the end!!!

  • @lorneould Yeah he forgot to hit the pinch harmonic eh?

  • Its Impossible to deny that this is one of the greatest solos ever written.

  • @TheBassBender Indeed, this is one of the greatest solos I've ever heard, ever. It makes me think...Sometimes you've just gotta look yourself in the mirror and say, "when in Rome."

  • @TheBassBender Heard a lot better than this What i mean danny gill plays it superb but there are so many better solos take rock bottom by michael schenker theres 1 and were not even trying here.child in time 2 want me to go on.
