Go to a Sharks game in HP Pavilion and then tell me we don't have dedicated fans. Maybe we are not the best fans in the NHL, but we are one of the loudest. Look it up. However, I have been to a Wild's game and it's pretty intense as well.

@zcm007adding coyle only would've been an overpayment if burns didn't sign an extension. But now that burns is under contract 6 years, the trade is a win-win for both sides.

It's just that I looked him up and the kid is incredible when looking at his resume; I was already a fan of his. I would have rather given up an extra first round pick instead of Coyle to complete that trade. But still, I believe in DW, he knows what he is doing and why.

@zcm007attack The Wild GM said at the draft this trade doesn't get done without Coyle. You have to give to get and Coyle is maybe 3 years away from reaching the NHL. I think wilson made the right decision considering he got a 26 year old top 2 defencemen in Burns.

They are loud and love thier Sharks. Everywere you go you See Sharks logos and everyone is wearing thier sharks jerseys even on the off season. Get your ass to California and watch a game then talk.

But when it comes to fans who are devoted to their team, follow the stats, and support their team like they would their own child, that would be SJ. Seto and heater inherited good teams with great fans. Burns and Havlat inherited a top contender team, with the most loving fans in hockey. it's called "California Love" for a reason. QUALITY over QUANTITY, don't hate man.

Here in San Jose, California not only do we have the biggest Ice facility West of the Mississippi, but somehow under all that warm cali sun, Hockey is growing faster than any sport out here. Face it, giving hockey to Minnesota, is like giving sun to Californians. But us Californians can have practice at 5am and got to the beach right after. We are the best fans in the NHL with love for TEAL =)

@getcrunked3 I've been to Minny, Mich, and Buff, as well as ATL. The hockey players there don't love the game anymore than they do here. They may be more players,opportunities, and NHL logos, but the quality does not match. Never have I seen so much support for hockey in Cali, I've seen parents and coaches from opposing teams let opposing players use their equipment so they could make it a fair game to say the least. Everyone just assumes when talking about Cali. Don't argue til you've lived it.

@getcrunked3 Exactly Hockey here in Minnesota is what most to all of us love! we do not EVER like losing hockey to the off-season. In the streets during the summer you will see kids playing street hockey and just shooting with themselves. Which shows how much we love hockey here in the state of hockey. So not to be a disgrace to Minnesota on being a oh yes we are the best. But I would have to say here in Minnesota we have to most likely be the State Of Hockey.

@getcrunked3 Plus Montreal/Chicago/Detroit are half of the original teams...how many years have they been playing? exactly. And we in San Jose STILL out do them, not by population. But by enthusiasm, love for the game, knowledge, and support. Facts kill: Only 5 Arenas hold less people than Hp Pavilion, and we continue to be the loudest. Look at the Cow Palace days, no one knew what the fuck hockey was, and yet the place was rockin, even though the sharks were terrible. No argument homie =)
