I actually beat this game after failing a thousand times and using a ton of continues, only to be told that there was another challenge starting with World 1-1.

I found myself shuffling between Mario and Luigi to get through this. Getting used to the old Mario controls over Mario 3's was tough and there are a few places where Mario's no skidding ability comes in handy. Luigi rules this game otherwise.

yes it is, after you beat the regular game, a luigi head pops up on the home screen, and that's the mario 2 levels! YAY! hardest shit ever...took me forever to beat.

Took me like 12 years to beat this game. The orignal MArio 2 was also on the Super Mario Dexlux game on the GBC. I beat it on that game

What a coincidence. Took me forever to find a ROM of Final Fantasy II that would run on FCE Ultra, which is what I'm playing now.
