What a nice but creepy song. I get very uncomfortable when I think about dying, meeting the saints and seeing angels peeking through my window pane.He seems quite pleased about his impending death. All of this sang to a happy upbeat rockabilly background. Seems bizarre to me.

@shmuli9 Oh, well. Rosemary was beautiful and a GREAT singer, but she had a few issues and I guess boredom was quite painful to her. Highly sensitive, talented and creative people seem to crave novelty and suffer a lot when they feel trapped by circumstances. Usually the circumstances are created by colliding with business people who want to make a whole lot of money by harnessing a fiery racehorse to pull a wagon, as it were.

I know Shakin Stevens, He used to live until not so long ago in Hartley Whitney in Hampshire, and I used to see him all the time and chat to him. Also my second name is Stevens lol....

Sorry to here about your dad. Mine Passed away in April 07. I was in Year ten when this came out and it was certainly legendary & part of a rockabilly & retro rock revival in the 79-84 period with Shaky and groups like Major Matchbox, Queen, The Stray Cats & even John Lennon with Starting over
