@wwwCOASTERFORCEcom did you count the Arrow Double Corkscrew and Loop Double Corkscrew models? Because I thought there were only 28 customs Arrow Loopers.
Arrow Corkscrew Coasters has been popular in the '80 to the mid '90's then went bankrupted in 2000 then S-S power bought them and they are maintains all of the existing arrow coasters. some parks decides to scrap them because they are getting hard to maintain and getting spare parts. The corkscrew was closed for 3 weeks in late July because it was getting old and getting harder to get replacement parts from a custom manufacter.
Coolness! I've been there before but unfortunately the beginning of the day started off bad with a couple of guys driving by in the parking lot shouting unnecessary racial slurs to my family and I in the parking lot and we have kids with us too! Thankfully we didn't bump into them later inside. In the end, we had fun regardless.
Ah... We have one of them here in Australia at Sea World. But it doesn't have the little airtime hill after the loop :( Was my favourite part of the ride on the one at Cedar Point. I NEED TO GO BACK!!!
Oh..my..the smooth glide sound of the wheels against the track. The instantly recognizable chain lift clatter, the neck breaking transitions....God, I miss Great American Scream Machine..-sigh- but really? only 28 Arrows were built?? They seem to have been everywhere in bigger numbers, lmao.
@MikeIsEvil Arrow built a total of 73 coasters, but only 28 of them were looping corkscrew coasters like this one, Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags Great Adventure, Canyon Blaster at the Adventuredome, Carolina Cyclone at Carowinds, Dragon Fire at Canada's Wonderland, Vortex at Kings Island, the Viper coasters at Six Flags Magic Mountain & Darien Lake, the Demon coasters at Six Flags Great America & California's Great America, etc.
The drop looks so small!!!!

This reminds me of Viiper at Darien lake. That was the first "real" coaster I went on. I still reemember the painful head banging it gave me.

arrow dynamic loopers look like they go so slow that it looks like it won't complete it's course.

This looks pretty smooth for a corkscrew.
LeeJonesLuvsU 1 month ago
@LeeJonesLuvsU It's not really long enough or fast enough to be seriously painful, but I wouldn't call it smooth.

GOD, I LOVE AAROW DYNAMIC LOOPERS. I WISH THEY WERE STILL AROUND. THESE ARE THE CLASSICS LIKE THE ORIGINAL STEEL PHANTOM AT KENNYWOOD

This is the most enjoyable Corkscrew. I like the front of a middle car.

which one would you say is better? This corkscrew, or the one at cedar point?
I mean there are very few differences they are basically the same thing...

@rollercoasterfan97 This one. It's partially over water & has that 360 degree banked turn at the end.
