  • Vietnam. Humans in the Infrantry just killed.

    Fuck Dogs.

  • De, szomorú!!

  • Thank You.

  • 12sps: What a fitting tribute. For those in a position to do so, there is a program for adopting military working dogs that are being retired from service. I can think of no better way to thank these magnificent dogs for their service than to give them a good home to live in for the rest of their lives! Readers can visit the Lackland AFB homepage.

  • I just got MSG from the SC AG. This killer has PCP. A simple thing. A 9 that blew her brain out, and a 25 for her little dog. A smart dog, but dead,

    Fuck all of you Legs.

  • In Vietnam, as an Infrartry Officer with the 101st. I had no time for a dog..

I will at an old, shoot you.

  • A dog? A pup, a dob?

    Kiss my ass.

  • Pro Patria ! doughboy

  • very powerfull clip..R.I.P the dogs of war!!

  • nice vid i teared up i love the war dogs does anybody know what song was playing

  • You will forever be safe. You are compliant, uncurious and predictable, and pose no threat whatever to your government.

Just because I chose to vent my opinions does not mean I am not concerned, but to live a lie is not to live at all.

You do know that the US military (probably others too) invested a lot of time and energy in teaching dolphins to place limpet mines on vessels, don't you? Is there nothing perverse about this either?

  • @FatAddie

I am not a free man, and live in great fear of tyranny.

You know scant little about war, politics or freedom.

Capitalism and communism are simply 2 contesting economic models which are, in most of the world, controlled by the same people, and both are used to control you.

PS. Using animals to fight these disgusting and unnecessary wars is an obscenity; honouring them as heroes in order to justify barbarism is mentally unsound.

  • @flyhead2

If you're sick and tired of your own kind, go shoot your yourself in the head. If you're too coward to do it. Shut the F@ck UP!

Respect the fallen for what they scarified. They died so you can be here talk shiit like this.

  • sorry to say your wrong, but your assessment of the role these dogs had is. they were not attack dogs used to destroy the enemy. they were used so men in foxholes could get a real nights rest while they watched the jungles. they were used as hounds to smell out trails so men didnt walk into ambushes, they were silent therapists for the men to tell their problems to. there was no perversion here because they did what dogs always have and will do. protect, serve, and obey. "Always faithful".

  • So, I suppose World War II wasn't fought to free Europe from Nazi control or Asia from the Japanese Empire? Do you think the world would be better off if the US decided not to fight against facism and genoicide?

  • These dogs saved a countless number of lives.

  • But the poor dog, in life the firmest friend, The first to welcome, foremost to defend, Whose honest heart is still his master's own, Who labors, fights, lives, breathes for him alone, Unhonored falls, unnoticed all his worth, Denied in heaven the soul he held on earth -- While man, vain insect! hopes to be forgiven, And claims himself a sole exclusive heaven. Lord Byron
  • I have done mostly what men do, And pushed it out of my mind; But I can't forget, if I wanted to, Four-Feet trotting behind. Day after day, the whole day through-- Wherever my road inclined-- Four-Feet said, 'I am coming with you!' And trotted along behind. Now I must go by some other round-- Which I shall never find-- Some where that does not carry the sound Of Four-Feet trotting behind. --- Rudyard Kipling ---
  • This is so touching!

  • ONE BIG SALUTE FROM ME!!!!

  • My Father was in the 981st MP in 69-70. His dog was Shep M091. I have yet to watch the video, but I'm sure it is a heartfelt dedication. Thank-you.

  • Extremely moving video. I was fortunate to meet and hear speak, John C Burnam, MSG (USA ret) who is the author of "Dog Tags of Courage", a book about the war dogs in Vietnam. My deepest gratitude and respect for the military, law enforcement, and rescue personnel and their dogs.

  • tThis was just put on the myspace bulletins by a friend and they were there for this memorial,my gosh it has brought tears to me eyes!

  • They were not forgotten by their human companions - but the world never thought about them - Now they are Remembered and They Are The NOT FORGOTTEN - any more. May the working dogs of now get the same respect they so deserve. May they NOT be left behind.

  • A very moving and important memorial tribute and a beautiful video. Thank you for sharing.

  • My friend Bill Wynn, & "Smoky" (Book:Yorkie Doodle Dandy) tiny Yorky found in Asia in WWII, who was a hero, doing missions, entertaining troops, hospitals, and after the war, Bill and Smoky had an early TV show after the war. At wars end, no one was allowed to bring their dogs home, so Bill hid the tiny dog in his gas mask case when entering the ship, and then nervously kept her hidden in his room. Any dogs found on the ship, were tossed over into the vast Pacific Ocean. After being heros.

  • THank you for this memorial video. I trust an animal quicker than I trust a person. Like an abused child, they will love their owners no matter what.

  • I never realized, until I first saw this video, what I good friend I left behind in Vietnam.595 DaNang 71-2

  • Bye bye 82abnoff. I just removed your ass. Lucky for him my dog Buck isn't around. He'd rib is dick off, if he has one.

  • @12sps : I hate jackasses who come on to nice videos like this and start their stupid trolling shit. There are plenty of memorials for our human heros, but not as many for their K-9 counterparts. Great video, cute dogs! I think I am definitely going to adopt a few retired military dogs. <3 Thanks for protecting my freedoms!

  • 82abnoff also made also took time to make negative comments about the Guam War Dog dedication.Must be a cat person.

  • If you really believe that then your a sad person, who cant even open up to someone who would face death without even blinking just to save you. Humans might run, but dogs will never abandon their friends.

    Your nothing but scum.

  • lordcrapalot was responding to some dick wantabee. FYI, I removed the stupid remark, and f I see another one, I'll remove that one too.

  • The problem with this country that we accept not having a dog stamp for the vietnam and WW II

    dogs.

We tolerate this kind of crap. we will have a michael child mollester stamp before we have a stamp for war dogs.

  • Very touching video,thank you.

  • USAF K9 for 15 yrs, I have visited the memorial at March and currently serve in Alaska as a trainer supervisor...I am very proud to be apart of a great heritage and a brotherhood that will last forever...thanks to the War Dogs, I have a place in this world

  • What a moving ceremony- may no war dogs be left behind any more.

  • where is a stamp for the war dogs?

They have them for dumb micky

    mouse , etc.

  • It would be great to see stamps for the war dogs. I would definitely purchase. I must admit, I do buy Mickey stamps lol. I love Disney though and do believe our culture was changed the minute Mickey came out (whether we like him or not). But war dog stamps would be great.

  • I just want to say thank you for posting this very special video, heroes are heroes in my opinion, and this is what I believe it's all about, wonderful tribute.

  • Thank you for posting this very touching video.

  • Thank you to all who served and the dogs who brought you home. I could see it in each of their expressions how they pet that dog under the chin, scrubbed his muzzle, and gave him hugs how much they each Thank their K-9 partners and miss them. There will never be an excuse for the government for their decision to leave those K9 Hero's behind and nothing that will fill the void in your hearts. But I hope this Memorial will give you a proper place to mourn if you must and to reflect.

  • Thank you for putting this out there for all to see. I will share with my daughters and students in class. I thank all of you who served and and especially Dug 112M for keeping my brother safe.

  • Unbelieveable video! Semper Fi! Loyal, Brave, & Understanding to the end! I miss you guys'. I will see you soon! Until then, Godspeed, Thank you!

  • God bless the bravest of the brave. It's so sad that, in the end, they were considered expendable and were abandoned to cruel fates after serving so valiantly. But we knew their spirits and their hearts...brave warriors and loyal companions, one and all! We will remember and we will honor their memories. God bless all of you who knew them as companions and comrades in the field. From one who trained them...I did my best to help them hone their skills. You guys had the hard jobs. Thank you.

  • 212th Military Police Sentry Dog Handler RVN 1969....I think of my dog Prince all the time.

  • Well done Tom, Thanks. Semper Fido!
