  • my old boss had one of these, one of the first ones made acording to the date she bought it and the numbers on the piece. she had it appraised once, was considered to be about $500 in its current condition, which was about average. it had some dings and small dents, so if yours is one of those first ever made and is in good condition, you may get more out of it.

  • this thing looks awesome !

  • I was hired to make these in the 80's in Florida by the Frozen Moment company out Austrailia. I am now making my own.I would love to show you some of them. Jean Smyth

  • how do u make them and do u think i could buy one off of you

  • They became quite common at one stage, but when they first came out they were a real novelty, and utterly unexpected as well as great fun!

The coffee and milk design was made in Japan, and bought there in 1986.

  • This idea was originally developed in Australia in the 1970s, although we don't know the name of the artist. Everyday objects like drinking glasses, bottles, crockery and china are connected and held together by a stream of liquid. It could be milk, beer, wine, whatever. But the liquid is made of resin, and actually supports the bottle or the carton, which floats magically in mid air.
