What an engine. Still unrivalled to this day for tunability and strength, except by the Nissan RB26. As fuelling technology has moved on, the YB has got better and better.

I would love to know if it was running pump fuel but the chances are it was not.That sort of power from a 2.0 or there abouts is very impressive, although the F1 cars in the 1980's were around 1.5 and produced 1200bhp

Only the turbo F1 cars were 1.5L, but they also used up one engine for qualifying and another for the race. Not to mention the custom fuels they cooked up...
