Wow, great video! My daughter died 2 hrs after birth but the drs were able to shock her bsck to life! Turns out she had a cancer or tumor in her tummy :-(, so she had surgery at 3 weeks old, a blessing from God, treasure ur blessing cause u never know how long u will have them!!!
I know a girl that was born when she was only 26 weeks. She was a miracle baby. She is now 34, and she is my wife. She was told 10 years ago she could not have children. She is 15 weeks pregnant with our first miracle baby.
If you've had a miracle baby, premature baby, or any kind of great outcome with what was a troublesome pregnancy/ birth, you could be in a magazine! Check my profile for our website link.
I'm one of a team of journalists at a press agency called Famous Features. We sell stories to weekly magazines and newspapers, and pay every one of our case studies fees for their time. If you want to be in a magazine, contact me now.
He is a miracle and a blessing. My daughter and myself both were premature babies, I was 2lbs 8 ounce and my daughter was 3lbs 4 ounces. God works miracles. Cherish and love your children they are gifts from God..
I see my own in him!!!I Ido not know the ways of the Lord, But I do know that " Always the Lord is Good" & " In all ways the Lord is good." I am soo thankful for his goodness!!
My daughter was born with brain damage, we asked for all the ultrasounds and any files the maternal fetal medicine unit had on her. We have no videos and only 11 pics on week 35 (one week before she was born with hydrops fetalis and 2.2 hemoglobin.) 4D was used once a week.
Please help us find justice, we need public support.
thank you for sharing this beautiful little man with the world!!! proof, that miracles happen!! and that a "fetus" is a baby no matter what these pro-choice ppl say!!!
2. Once the fetal brain is functioning, then "one cannot advance any logical argument to show that that fetus is not a living human being, at least from the point of view of medicine." For Goldenring, the critical point of such brain formation is the eighth week, when the brain as a whole is integrated. (Moussa & Shannon, 1992)
He is so adorable! He also proves that a fetus is a baby deserving a chance at life. To think at 26 weeks people are able to attain partial birth abortions and call the moving infant that is out of the woman's body except the head of course a fetus that feels nothing. You have a miracle baby who is very strong, God bless him and his parents.
Beautiful story, beautiful boy, congratulation! My son is born at 26 week and weigh 1.6 pounds. We pass a lot of hard things.. but now he is a 6 years old boy going school like everyone else. He is such an inspiration for us. We are looking at him and not a moment pass that I don't think about all he go trought.. sorry for my english by the way...
I'd take offence to your comment if it weren't so grammatically incorrect.... "would of use abortion when you were still in her wombs"??? What the fuck does that mean?
I'm not part of pro-life, not part of peta not part of anything, but idiots like you should die an horrible death. PS: I had a premature baby, and you know what, he has no side effect, he's just like a normal 5 year old kid. imagine if the doctors would of said ... lets just let him die ! Think about it, it could of been you !
my husband and i have been through this our son was born at 41 weeks , he was born with fluid in his lungs to do having a bowel movement whie i was pregnant. it was stress that caused it, he is our miracle and is now 4 years old
Brain-dead patients can "survive" on life support for a very long time...that does not make them any more alive legally. The legal guardian of the patient is allowed to remove life support at any time...even if there is a chance of recovery. Many would call this "sick" but doctors allow those responsible to weigh the cost (financially, physically, and emotionally) of waiting for recovery. But this is a LEGAL PERSON who died. A brain-dead fetus has not yet gained that legal status.
kate33fl, could you go up to this child and say, "I thought you should have been killed when you were younger, but I guess it's legally too late now"?
How can you see the results of that fetus, the natural changes and growths it makes on its own, the resilience and brilliancy of life, and still argue? It's not just ignorant, it's sick.
I don't have a say when a mother is choosing to continue their pregnancy or not. I definitely think that the "natural changes and growth" that takes place in the womb is an amazing process. I am always amazed when I observe God's creations. But, before 13 weeks gestation, there is no brain function. God did not mention when He believed a fetus' life was sacred, but there are ancient Christian laws in the Bible that suggest an embryo/fetus is not considered a legal "life."
Sorry for the confusion. While researching...I came across ONE study that suggested the brain becomes active BETWEEN 13 and 16 weeks...so I upheld my unbiased opinion about medical research and refer to this document for debate purposes. The others say at 16 weeks...which I previously suggested that a particular week was too close a call...hence my purpose of choosing 13 weeks...not 16 weeks...as my personal opinion for the cut-off for elective abortions.
Why are you posting here about abortion? this is a vid about some family and there sick baby. Dont be a pesty fucking protester. I am all the way pro choice, hell I encourage abortion, But have some respect. I hate pshy pro lifers that talk all kinds of shit, dont be like them.
yea I know that already... I didnt read the whole whole discription just like yoiu didnt read the whole thread. If you did you would know that I apologised for the mistake already.
This baby was a 26 week old baby. A micro preemie. Alot of people claim they aren't a baby/human at this point. And figure they'll just kill they baby. This video proves that they are a human being. That it is a baby, not a fetus as pro-choice people often say. That's why they posted this.
The simple, doesn't even need to be said, fact in all of this, though, is this:
You have no right to take something as uncertain, yet wholly sacred, as when a human person begins life and just fiddle around with the time this happens, risking killing. a baby because the reality is you don't know if you're right or not.
Kate, don't take chances when there's the risk of killing other people. You'd expect no less from others regarding your early life. Give others the same respect.
Well everyone has their opinion. I'm not trying to convince anybody. I personally believe that the whole "brain dead" theory is just that, a theory. A theory based on study. And studies vary and get new developments as time goes by. And as those theories vary, so do our opinions.
Well, I do disagree (halfway) with one part. That the "brain dead" theory is JUST a theory. It is the latest "theory" that disproved the previous belief that brain activity occured at 40 days gestation. I put quotes because it is not a theory. It is an observation. But, who knows, with more modern tools and more knowledge, we might find more stuff out about an embryo. But, for now, you can't force laws on people because of your opinion. The facts prove my case..not yours.
wouldn't it be heartbreaking to find out, after years and years of study that we were all wrong, either way? How can we ever know if its all in theory, I propose?
"but a woman should not be forced to risk her life to save the fetus at any point..that is her choice."
No matter what, the mother chooses. But she should also realize entirely, no sugar coating WHATSOEVER, the actuality of the situation: she's killing her child, regardless of how inconvenient he/she is.
Most abortions are performed before the 16th week of gestation. There is no brain activity before that time. How can you kill something that has no brain activity?...it's not even alive yet...so it can't be *killed*
Actually. (and thanks for asking) I only support elective abortions up until the 13th week gestation...due to the possibility of miscalculations in gestational age and the possible fetus that develops a little quicker than the others...I'd rather "play it safe"
BTW, the embryo and young fetus are living organisms..but they have no right to life. (like brain-dead patients or parasitic fetuses or even infants born with no brain function)
In all honesty just because something has no brain activity or even a brain does not mean it's not alive. Example if the *embryo/fetus* ((baby)) was not alive it would not grow, and if I'm correct the whole time that the baby is in the whom it's GROWING so there for it's ALIVE!
Many pro-choice people are admitting to the fetus being alive but now they are arguing that the fetus does not feel. They are grasping at straws to defend the murders of millions of babies. They also claim abortion is not murder because it is legal, but murder is murder whether it is legal or not. This baby and all preemie babies are prof that fetuses feel and live.
there is a living organism...but no person or human being or LIFE that can be *killed*.
watch?v=rSmT9WI2jDU
Check out this video and tell me that you would not remove and thus kill a living organism with separate human DNA if it was your child in these pics.
Some human DNA never actually forms a life...just admit it.
Emphasis on little. I expect no research reading your horribly constructed posts. This entire conversation is a joke because of how horrible your arguments are.
If you must really resort to petty, inappropriate insults, I'm done.
MyLegendarySelf...I apologize for offending you...but I was responding to your suggestion that my brain has not begun to function...that was quite insulting and petty, imo.
You have obviously run out of any evidence to support your beliefs. Everyone knows that a person without a brain is not a "person" in our society. We have a right to end the "lives" of ever other brainless living organism. You have no legal standing.
You have no legal right to end the life of an individual with a brain because you think you can decide if that individual's brain isn't developed enough to count.
You have no right to draw the line between person or something else.
No matter what standing I have, I'm not going to sit down. Not until every single person like you is silenced.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
"You have no legal right to end the life of an individual with a brain" - I apologize for the incomplete post...I'm on a laptop that I am not used to. Anyway, I agree completely. I have NO LEGAL RIGHT to have any say in the life or death of any human living organism that I do not have legal authority over. But, I did have legal authority over the embryo that aborted 10 years ago.
You have no no kind of right, period, to decide which brains are "brain enough" to give a human being the dignity to be thought of as more than a genderless, identity-lacking embryo.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
yes...actually, i did have that right. This is not only a right given to pregnant women..but it is also given to doctors and family members of a brain injured patient when the patient has significant brain activity loss (Persistent Loss of Consciousness). If everyone in a coma had the right to life...the financial and emotional burden would be too great.
It's like saying if some random old man jumped off a bridge vs accidentally falling off. You wouldn't call those two scenarios the same occurrence. One was suicide; one was an accidental fatality. Get real.
"I wonder what pro-lifers say to the 2/3rds of all pregnancies which are miscarried naturally. Would they charge their mothers with murder too?"
Are you for real?
There really is no difference to you if a child horrifically dies in a miscarriage, completely uncontrollably and to the extreme agony of the parents vs if a child is purposely and violently destroyed and disposed of?!
I do not have any knowledge of a case study for one of these rare abortions...but I do know that there are medically necessary abortions that take place after the 21st week of gestation...but not usually past the 24th week gestation. So, elective at this point does seem immoral to me, but a woman should not be forced to risk her life to save the fetus at any point..that is her choice.
there is no "you" that is "given a chance to live"; no brain, no heart, no baby, not even a fetus at conception. murdering a two celled "baby" is about as morally wrong as murdering a colony of bacteria
They don't have to be killed. Hundreds of fertilized embryos get flushed out of the woman's system all the time. A four celled organism is not a baby.
I agree d3p3ch3mod3. I wonder what pro-lifers say to the 2/3rds of all pregnancies which are miscarried naturally. Would they charge their mothers with murder too?
They consider it dying of natural causes so they don't say it's murder, but at the same time there's no huge outcry to fund some sort of public education campaign about ways to reduce miscarriage like there is about discouraging abortion because it's just not politicized like abortion is and their political party doesn't tell them to. If anything taxpayer money towards educating mothers about prenatal care probably comes from the left.
Also, loaded questions are almost always put in "yes or no answer" form, in case you think I'm dodging the question. I am, because it's a "do you still beat your wife" question.
What a fighter!! God bless him! God has blessed his family!! You know the stronger the fight against the unborn the stronger their struggle to live! My 5th child is just 2.5 months and it's amazing how fast he's thriving. This generation of babies are determined to live and I believe it's in response to the attack on life. Life always finds away. It's evolution.

Maybe because they found this video by typing in "anti-abortion", "abortion" or any of the following tags of the video:
anti-abortion prolife prematurity preemie premature abortion fetus unborn child Mandy Moore Extraordinary campaign obama
Or maybe because it's a video response to a pro-life/anti-abortion video.
You didn't have to type about your "pro-choice" and opinions if you were condemning someone for doing the same.

Thank you for furthering my point.
MyLegendarySelf 3 years ago
there is a living organism...but no person or human being or LIFE that can be *killed*.
watch?v=rSmT9WI2jDU
Check out this video and tell me that you would not remove and thus kill a living organism with separate human DNA if it was your child in these pics.
Some human DNA never actually forms a life...just admit it.
kate33fl 3 years ago
The only thing I need to say, I can quote from you:
"tell me that you would not . . . kill a living organism . . . if it was [YOUR CHILD]"
You're two-faced.
Yes, not all human DNA is an individual identity--an arm, a leg, an eye, for example, are all parts of a person.
For crying out loud, take a course in biology and learn about human reproduction. I'm not going to argue with a scientificaly-ignorant 3rd-grader.

what about an entire body without a brain? Is that a person with the right to live?
kate33fl 3 years ago
A baby has a brain. The removal of that brain would kill him/her.
MyLegendarySelf 3 years ago
A fetus prior to at least 16 weeks gestation does not have a functioning brain.
kate33fl 3 years ago
So when is yours going to start then?
MyLegendarySelf 3 years ago
Very funny...especially since i've been using my brain and actually doing a little research on the topic we are discussing.
Why don't you do the same...you might just have something constructive to say afterward.
kate33fl 3 years ago
Emphasis on little. I expect no research reading your horribly constructed posts. This entire conversation is a joke because of how horrible your arguments are.
If you must really resort to petty, inappropriate insults, I'm done.
MyLegendarySelf 3 years ago
MyLegendarySelf...I apologize for offending you...but I was responding to your suggestion that my brain has not begun to function...that was quite insulting and petty, imo.
You have obviously run out of any evidence to support your beliefs. Everyone knows that a person without a brain is not a "person" in our society. We have a right to end the "lives" of ever other brainless living organism. You have no legal standing.
kate33fl 3 years ago
You have no legal right to end the life of an individual with a brain because you think you can decide if that individual's brain isn't developed enough to count.
You have no right to draw the line between person or something else.
No matter what standing I have, I'm not going to sit down. Not until every single person like you is silenced.

But, I did have legal authority over the embryo that aborted 10 years ago.
kate33fl 3 years ago
You have no no kind of right, period, to decide which brains are "brain enough" to give a human being the dignity to be thought of as more than a genderless, identity-lacking embryo.

yes...actually, i did have that right. This is not only a right given to pregnant women..but it is also given to doctors and family members of a brain injured patient when the patient has significant brain activity loss (Persistent Loss of Consciousness). If everyone in a coma had the right to life...the financial and emotional burden would be too great.
kate33fl 3 years ago
Wow. That's all I have to say to you.
Your ability to reason morality logically is more impaired than you could ever realize.

good point
emolosersunite 2 years ago
It's like saying if some random old man jumped off a bridge vs accidentally falling off. You wouldn't call those two scenarios the same occurrence. One was suicide; one was an accidental fatality. Get real.
MyLegendarySelf 3 years ago
I emphasize "UNCONTROLLABLY" vs "PURPOSELY".

MyLegendarySelf 3 years ago
1.4% of abortions happen after the 21st week of gestation. So, your child is not exactly the anti-abortion poster child. Nice vid, though.
kate33fl 3 years ago 2
"1.4% of abortions happen after the 21st week of gestation."
That's disgusting that any happen.
MyLegendarySelf 3 years ago
I do not have any knowledge of a case study for one of these rare abortions...but I do know that there are medically necessary abortions that take place after the 21st week of gestation...but not usually past the 24th week gestation. So, elective at this point does seem immoral to me, but a woman should not be forced to risk her life to save the fetus at any point..that is her choice.
kate33fl 3 years ago
Those pictures of children born with problems are too much for me. I can't have children knowing that such problems can occur. I just can't.

there is no "you" that is "given a chance to live"; no brain, no heart, no baby, not even a fetus at conception. murdering a two celled "baby" is about as morally wrong as murdering a colony of bacteria
d3p3ch3mod3 3 years ago
They don't have to be killed. Hundreds of fertilized embryos get flushed out of the woman's system all the time. A four celled organism is not a baby.
d3p3ch3mod3 3 years ago
I agree d3p3ch3mod3. I wonder what pro-lifers say to the 2/3rds of all pregnancies which are miscarried naturally. Would they charge their mothers with murder too?
juliaisafilmbuff 3 years ago
They consider it dying of natural causes so they don't say it's murder, but at the same time there's no huge outcry to fund some sort of public education campaign about ways to reduce miscarriage like there is about discouraging abortion because it's just not politicized like abortion is and their political party doesn't tell them to. If anything taxpayer money towards educating mothers about prenatal care probably comes from the left.
d3p3ch3mod3 3 years ago
Also, loaded questions are almost always put in "yes or no answer" form, in case you think I'm dodging the question. I am, because it's a "do you still beat your wife" question.
d3p3ch3mod3 3 years ago
You might as well be asking if I'm glad that my parents had sex instead of foreplay on the night I was conceived.
d3p3ch3mod3 3 years ago
Yeah, once.

This is simply beautiful! What a precious child. What wonderful parents to allow him to have a chance to live. Thank you.
