Glad to help... with Hashimoto's you must avoid iodine and most multivitamins have iodine. There are a couple on the market though....
But definitely using specific nutrients is important.
D is very interesting and you can get your levels too high so the best thing is to get your blood checked, see where you are and supplement. Optimal levels are around 70 so if you are below say 50 then supplement.
Usually between 8-10,000 and then recheck in a couple of months.
So, Dr. Haskell, would you recommend taking specific supplements as opposed to a multi-vitamin, and I am very interested about vitamin D and thyroid function. Is there such thing as too much! I really appreciate it!
