Actually, its a quite heartfelt song, that harkens back to Born To Run, in terms of Bruce describing his longing for some thing that is "out there" but cannot quite reach. However, the arrangement is not working at all. The whistling HAS to be cut, and the la-la's don't quite fit either. It should have been pared down, heartfelt. The glockenspiel at the end is the right sound for this song, and that ties it back to the Born to Run era.
