@choyleefutkid1 Doesn't really matter what you think since I've done both Wushu and Sanshou for three years across two different countries. Also, if in doubt learn to use search engines like everyone else. The article in wikipedia is decent enough, for example.
There are many Wushu/Kung Fu schools that teach Sanda (sports sanda or Yundong Sanda) too. It is also called Sanshou. So, don't look for just Sanshou/Sanda schools.
Sanda is not grappling... Sanda HAS grappling, but it is not grappling. Sanda in Chinese means Free fighting. Sanda is a fighting system created by the Chinese government in the 80s. It mixes the best most practical things of all Chinese arts into a single system. Which include "Shuai Jiao" or Chinese wrestling, which is the ansestor of Judo and aikido etc Sanda uses mostly punches and kicks, but when clinch looks for takedowns. If anything, Sanda is known for it's kicks, not grappling

Sanda is not grappling... Sanda HAS grappling, but it is not grappling. Sanda in Chinese means Free fighting. Sanda is a fighting system created by the Chinese government in the 80s. It mixes the best most practical things of all Chinese arts into a single system. Which include "Shuai Jiao" or Chinese wrestling, which is the ansestor of Judo and aikido etc Sanda uses mostly punches and kicks, but when clinch looks for takedowns. If anything, Sanda is known for it's kicks, not grappling

I expect most people would be cut attempting some of the knife defenses, but that is reality.
