Herrmann wrote the whole soundtrack in about a week but died before the movie was released. I think he was hugely influentual in the scoring of film, a legend.

@slyme1711 he composed the music to Hitchkock's Psycho - he agreed to do it for Taxi Driver when Scorcese told him that the main character (Travis) pours brandy over his breakfast cereal. Lol. This is a true story --
