  • 3ppl have never been in Ireland.

  • It's 2am here in Paris and I'm going to watch all your vids. Ta siad go hiontach! I'm fascinated on many levels by your view of Ireland as an Irishman of immigrant parents - I hope that does not in any way sound insulting or patronising, I do not mean it in any way.

What is so good is that you have absorbed Irish humour and avoided the cynicism inherent in the Irish.

    Rock araigh!!

    Siochan leat!

  • Thanks for sharing. My first trip to Ireland is only 48 hours away, and we plan to see the cliffs.

  • Great video mate, Its on my list for a revisit. :)

  • im in dublin and i still didnt get in galway :(( i have to get there soon

  • was there oct 2009. best time of my life

  • I was there in june 2009 and the weather was perfect. Bright and sunny. Perfect view.

Nice video. Good memories. Ierland is great.

    Greats from Holland

  • I liked the video, it was great! My dream is to go to Irelnd, and to travel the whole county around! And iam going soon :)! I think Ireland is the most beautifull country (after Hungary XD) in the world!

  • @lizavp

I have the same dream. I must see that beautiful part of the world.

Ireland is very close to my heart. I'm from Hungary too. Azt is mondhatnám, hogy menjünk eggyütt. Ezeket a képeket nézegetve nagyon elfogott a mehetnék. What a lovely music is at the background.God bless ireland.

  • Hát akkor menjünk eggyütt!!! XD márc 22 pozsony ott találkszunk :D, ryanairrel megyünk, de nem tom hánykor :D!!!

  • Was last at the Cliffs in 2006. Really miss it. I never get tired of just sitting there and listening to the ocean and smelling the salt in the air.

  • Tá radharc tíre ansin go híontach. Rachaidh mé go dtí na aillte bliain seo chugainn. Táim ag siul go mór leis, déanfadh sin! :)

  • i like the background music. very nice.

  • Breá liom do chuid físeán. Sonas ort.

  • Thanks for video. Always wanted to go there, but still have no opportunity.

  • been there as well

  • Fabulous video!!!! 5 stars... Mike & Gloria

  • Great Video...

"The Castle looking thingy" (01.50) is one of many "O'Briens" towers in the area.

This Tower was built in Victorian era for the Landed gentry to rest and take Tea when they came here. Most recently used as a mini Gift Shop (postcards etc.etc.)... and appears only to open on Fine Days ;-)

  • great video!

I've been there last year, and I want to visit the Cliffs again!

    Bye from Holland,

  • Tough luck with the Weather mate, It's really beautiful when the suns out.

  • It really is a beautiful place. I was able to visit my relatives up there a while ago. I Also stood right where you were at about 1:30 to take a picture with my brother!

  • Amazingly beautiful country... I would love to visit some day...

  • Next time you try to put change in a machine (like the talking telescope) try pushing the button as you put the coin in. It sometimes works. Ireland is beautiful.

  • This is the first video I've seen from your road trips in Ireland. I posted a comment here but I guess YouTube did not acknowledge it. :-(

Anyway, great view of the cliffs. Incredibly windy.

I think this is where Westlife shot their music video in their song "My Love". I'm not sure.

Love the background music you used here.

    Thanks for posting, Franklin! X-D X-D X-D

  • you just went on the wrong day if you went on a sunny day they would have been people right up to the edge

and yea alot of people go there to commit suicide unfortunately

  • Thank you very much for this video-for 10years I was at the Cliffs of Moher-it was great! And I want to visit the beautiful Ireland again!!! :-)

    Greetings from Germany..

  • Ireland is soo beautiful!! i would absolutly love to go there...hopefully soon!

  • I took a vacation to Ireland last summer to Dublin then drove across the country with my family to Kilkenny, Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher, and then drove back to Dublin, I also got sick in Kilkenny. The Cliffs of Moher is where the scene with the cliff of insanity in the movie The Princess Bride takes place.

  • Ireland and the Cliffs of Moher are just so gorgeous. I am going to go to Ireland one day.

  • i never realized how beautiful my ansesters country is

  • @irishmafiaboss your country is soooooooooooooo BEAUTIFUL

  • Thank goodness it wasnt me who fell over. I was there about 2 years ago and of course, was one of those people who climbed over the stone slabs. tsk tsk, i know.. i'm a bad girl.

As always, love your vids. Oh. did you get married? Congratulations! Lucky Girl!

  • That path looked dangerous. Also, how tall are you?

I ask cause you seemed to have to stretch to be seen over the sign at the end.

Or was it just a tall sign?

  • haha, i'm a tiny 5 foot 6 :p

  • You're shorter than my sister!

As for your road trip, are there more videos to come?

Or did you end at the Aillwee caves?

  • One more, but in Kilkenny, went to a few other places but certain circumstances *cough*weather*cough* prevented me from making vids anywhere else

  • You said you where in Mayo (I think), whereabouts?

  • Knock, I'm not particually religious but the rest of the group was, typical Filipinos, made me go to mass, 1st time I been to mass in Ireland (not counting weddings) in years. Was gonna make a vid there but the rain was just pissing down

  • I don't think Knock is particularly close to here.

Now if you had gone to Cong or Westport, they range from 1 hour to 15 minutes away.

  • nice one the scenic view and the shadow character- hehee! What's the title of the music in the background?

  • Info on the music appears in an annotation near the end of teh vid and in the description area to the right ;)

  • lol 7:32

  • why the "lol"? all i'm doing at 7:32 is walking upstairs?

  • And this place looks a little bit like Hyrule field in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight princess.

  • haha yeah, would have been cool if i had a horse, you can rent horses nearby, don't know where you can take them though... was gonna try it but then it started raining, gggrrrr, rain ruined all my extra fun

  • Is it true that in some irish dialect, the word "fag" means cigarette?

  • I know it's used in Britain. Not sure about Ireland.

  • yes it is

it is used all over ireland

  • not a dialect, common slang term used across both Ireland and the UK

  • Looks more like a don't kick the stones, then climb over them, :P, but great video. As always, when your out and about.

Makes me want to go, there but, I'm just a tad bit to lazy, plus not having a car kinda suck, the price of public transport is way to high these days

  • is there even any public transport that goes to the cliffs?

Only busses I saw while i was there were tour busses

  • whoaaa 12minutes long video ah! awesome video mokz..

  • Sometimes you just can't cut stuff out, haha

and i felt it best to keep it all in one video rather than dividing it up

  • Nice video mate thats a pretty stunning location, thanks for the video

and with the telescope I gotta say: Damn I hate when that happens

  • I would have thought with that place being one of the countries main tourist sights they'd keep those things in working order. I wanted to hear what it said, darn :p

  • Thank you for making that video! Really amazing cliffs...

Also, thought you should know- you look like you'd make a great character in a 'Lord of the Rings' type of movie. Have you ever tried acting?

  • Trust me i'm no actor... wish i was... but no, unfortunately not

  • The cliffs of moher have to be one of my fav places in ireland. I can't wait till the day I get to set foot in ireland. Brillant vid mokong. You scare me though with standing on the edge of the cliff. You are a heck of a daredevil I would never stand that close to the edge of a cliff. Any way on a happy note keep the vids coming I love them.

  • There's a few cliffs near where I live, I'm used to walking on narrow paths on the edge.... though their only maybe half as high as these awesome things were

  • ive been there once , the view is spectacular and amazing

  • was the weather better when you were there?

  • not really, actually the weather then was

the same as yours in the video, lol

  • haha, maybe its a common weather pattern over there

  • That awesome and epic, also scary all at the same time.

  • Yeah the place at the end, right on the edge, if a big gust of wind came you get a little nervous, haha

  • What a beautiful place! I wish there were places like that here :) thanks for sharing

  • ah but America has a number of its own natural wonders too of course, grand canyon, yellowstone, niagara falls, they spring to mind instantly

  • I live about 10 minutes away from the cliffs of moher!! And my aunt works in a shop there!!

  • really which shop? I walked past them but didn't go inside any though...

  • nice vid and great weather *sarcasm* lol

  • great weather for pengiuns for sure, haha

  • mint video mate, i would like to go see those cliffs sometime. bet they look better when the weathers a bit nicer.

    cool music too :)

    5*

  • yeah i'd love to see them on a nice blue sky sunny day, bet it would look loads more awesome

  • You should head up to mayo and check out some of the places up there :)

    i live there also :D

  • we actually went to Knock the following day... but the rain was pelting down i didn't get to make any video there, shame :(

  • aye ive been to the clffs a couple times....they are stunning.Great vid :)

  • yeah was cool to see... can't believe i hadn't been there sooner...

  • Hey man, I was there for the 1st time 2 months ago, its an awsome place. Thanks for the video : )

  • this was my 1st time there too actually

  • yeah? awsome!

  • Wow very nice place! Id love to visit Ireland.

  • maybe one day you will :)

  • ireland is a green and a beatiful country. i really! want to go to ireland sometime

  • keep the dream alive, work hard and save those pennies. haha.

I would like to see Norway someday myself, do a cruise around the fjords or something

  • Hey bro! Nice video! :) Ireland is a beautiful place--I hope to go there some time!

Probably the reason they restrict access to the cliff edge is because there are cases of people being too close to the edge and being blown off the edge to their deaths. It happens several times per year here along Britain's high-cliff coastlines.

    ~Sean

  • Yeah...it is actually know for a number of suicides which is unfortunate

  • Oh and that place where you are in the video looks very... Calming and peacfull.

  • it would be actually if there was less rain and wind ruining the experience, haha

  • Lol, did you see any of the Michael Phelps fish in the rain/river/sea???

  • No the fog was too thick to see much :p
