This wouldn't normally bother me, except I've seen a YouTube clip where Ana was on RT with Aloyna, and she's spewing righteous indignation about how Cenk & TYT were doing stories of the Arab protests while mainstream media was doing stories on Casey Anthony.
The reality is that even mainstream media has segments where they cover entertainment, lighter stories, or current non political events. But hypocrital TYT takes themselves too seriously

Well, that's my point. She goes onto a show (The Alyona Show on RT) whose main theme apparently is that mainstream media sucks. Ana proceeds to build on that, by saying how TYT is differentiated from the mainstream media, and that they report on stories that matter. But why say that, when you emulate mainstream media and also have segments that deal with lighter stories? That's my point. Apparently you didn't get it.

@karenkoepke Yeah, we know. We watched the trial. They didn't prove that it was human decomposition, and they didn't prove how the chloroform got there. All they proved was that there was something rotting in the trunk and that chloroform can be found in places where you wouldn't expect it to be found. Did they prove Casey made chloroform? No. How the fuck is a high-school dropout gonna make chloroform? Gimme a fucking break.

@TheManMostMysterious I don't think you understand they way the law works. The defense doesn't have to prove that she didn't do it, the prosecution has to prove that she did, beyond a reasonable doubt. You saying that the evidence "should" have proved something is flawed; that's like me saying that you can't prove there wasn't a dead body in your car, therefore you killed someone. I can't prove there was a body in your trunk, but that doesn't mean there wasnt one...so, you're a murderer.

@mwhitten77 It doesn't mean that there wasn't one. You realize the burden of proof the prosecution has? Beyond all reasonable doubt. So its not overly hard for a defense attorney to throw doubt into the mind of the jury. Unfortunately, while damming, the evidence was circumstantial and didn't carry sufficient weight to get a conviction when it certainly should have.
