@ the annotation at 4:07, all "hibernate" does is save your session to the disk and shut down. I think you're thinking of "sleep" (what we Linux users would call "suspend").

I don't think it will work. Windows 8 requires an efficient GPU and a fast processor, it's not netbook friendly. it also has very strict requirements as for tablet hardware.

Normally your vids are satirical reviews but this one I might actually consider getting and then throwing Windows 8 on it. Windows 8 is optimized for touch with the Metro UI. The Aero UI in Windows 7/Vista is not really optimized for touch devices. But for the cost, I would say an iPad is more worth my money. If this was in range of $200 I would get one.

The HDMI adaptor for VGA and Ethernet is pretty standart thing HDMI natively supports internet over HDMI. Sadly, not many devices take advantage of this feature.

Here's a tip;

Double click the taskbar at the bottom of the screen and select "Toolbars" then find the "Tablet PC Input Panel" and select that. A little button appears on the taskbar. Press it and BOOM. Keyboard/handwriting recog. This will also work on any computer, but it's not very helpful unless it's a touchscreen.

yeah that keyboard app is quite obscuring, they should have made it like the android phones where the text box snaps up above the keyboard so you can see it as your typing. although i dislike all touch screens in general anyway
